Kelly's first month
So Kelly has won the manager of the month with Swansea's Michael Laudrup and Spurs' Andres Villas-Boas coming 2nd and 3rd respectively, but now onto the month's results, we played Manchester City in the Community Shield final and lost to a last-minute David Silva goal 3-2. We played our first Premier League match against Newcastle United and won by a great 4-1 win with goals from David Luiz (11), Ashley Cole (pen 35), Victor Moses (42) and John Terry (63), Jonas Gutierrez scored Newcastle's only goal. We then played Stoke City at the Brittania, we knew the Brittania was a hard ground to go to and it was only thanks to 2 very late goals from Oscar (88) and Robert Lewandowski (90+1) that we won 2-1. I then grabbed my first trophy in the Euro. Super Cup, winning 1-0 against a strong Atletico Madrid side, Oscar (15) scored the eventual winner in this one. In the Premier League we are sitting top of the pile with 6 points and a goal difference of +4 on the board.
