currently in 2013 with dundee. finished 3rd in the league last year so got to europe which was awesome! not so awesome was getting roma in the qualifying round :| not doing quite aswell this year due to injuries and players wanting out but ill show you my team and give some examples of some pretty good deals:
GK - Lee Camp (got him on a free in 3rd season) (ENG)
DR - Craig Wilson (made up youngster, got for free in 2nd season) (SCO)
DL - Ruben Silva (made up youngster, 1.4mil) (URG)
DC - Gerson (bought for 2mil last year, have had offers of 5mil for him) (BRA)
DC - Alistair Templeman (made up youngster, bought for 500K) (SCO)
MR - Iain Flannigan (got him for free in 3rd season) (SCO)
ML - Douglas Costa (bought for 2.1mil last year, have had offers up to 6mil for him) (BRA)
MC - Stephen McGinn (bought for 80K in 3rd season, struggling to hold onto him) (SCO)
MC - Ferrie Bodde (got him on a free in second season - just plain amazing) )NED)
ST - Sandy McKenna (made up youngster bought for 60K in 3rd season) (SCO)
ST - Miguel Ribiero (made up youngster bought for 5.5mil this season) (URG)
Team is really young especially defence, but centre backs are amazing and potential abilities are all practically seven star (for dundee anyway). Struggling to hold onto players, they mostly want to move to a bigger club but on the whole doing not too bad. Club is pretty secure financially now and the staff are pretty awesome. Best buys so far have got to be McGinn, Bodde and Omar Koroma who i had to sell this year he was so unhappy. McGinn cost 80K and has been a solid performer and has attracted a lot of interest. Bodde was free and cant believe he actually came to dundee and has recently secured new 4 year deal so he will hopefulyl end his career with me. He is worth about 2.5mil just now and is my captain. Really good bargain. Omar Koroma starts at norwich on loan from portsmouth. Got him for free at start of third season. Goal Machine. Improves a lot and as a result attracts a lot of interest. Wasnt able to get him to sign a new deal so had to sell him before he ended up leaving on a free. Got 8.25mil for him which was pretty good. Just hope his replacement can fill his place. Two good signings in my first season which prob got me promoted were Seyfo Soley on a free and Marvin Andrews, also on a free. Both did their jobs really well. Soley is all round pretty good and Andrews was a rock at the back. Obviously none of these players are any good if you are playing as a big team but for those who are playing as teams struggling at the bottom of the league, or are pushing for promotion and dont have a lot of money then id definitely reccommend these players:

Obviously these guys stats and contracts will vary between games but if you can get them cheap (or better, free) then they are definietly worth a look. Loving FM09, cant wait to knock Rangers and Celtic off the top of the SPL!
