With all the stories I have written lately, I am going to give one last shot at maintaining a long-term story. This will be the last story I'm writing in a few months and if I fail with this I won't be writing another story for a long time and i will go back to the story's that have predominantly failed before. Hopefully you enjoy. Ciao.

Steven Gerrard into management.

England legend Steven Gerrard has publicly announced that if the right club offers him the role and contract he is looking for then he will become a young manager, at the age of 32.

The 32-year-old midfielder is currently half way through his new contract which ends in 2015, and is at the moment resting his injury, ready to undergo physiotherapy. Gerrard said, "I am 32 now but i don't think at this age, that it should be the end of my footballing career, therefor both me and Jamie Carragher have decided to enter management and coaching, and its almost like entering the unknown. However, i don't want my playing career to end, however if the right offer comes in, I could be tempted to become a full time manager."

After announcing this speculation states that teams Everton F.C, QPR and Nottingham Forrest are looking into appointing him as manager.

Where will Steven Gerrard go?

The deal, the club.

I walked into the Liverpool F.C bar with Jamie Carragher, and in there was the chairman Tom Werner, sat, with a glass of whiskey, looking stressed with his head buried in his laptop and Ipad.

Steven Gerrard - Red

Tom Werner - Blue

"Afternoon Sir," I said, as i noticed him almost pulling his hair out.

"Good afternoon Steven, uh... What is the matter, what can I do for you?"

"Nothing, I just saw you looking stressed, whats the matter, whats going on like?"

"We have no manager!, That is the problem Steven" I looked down to the floor and thought for a second. Bye this time, my journey into management was official to the world and was all over the internet.

"I know sir, what about the re-signing of Rafa Benitez?" I said. "Our hot seat is currently vacant and we can't find a suitable managerial candidate, and Rafa has brought us success here before, surely he can do it again."

"I want a new face, someone who is a management rookie, someone who can make history!. Steven, i want you to manage your team Liverpool F.C?"

"Are you sure you want me?, I mean i'm only a rookie" . Yes, in my head the only team in the whole world that i wanted to manage, was Liverpool, but it all seemed unreal.

"Yes, we'll make it official then, let me mail the whole backroom staff, team, and i will alert Sky sports so they can be the first to announce it publicly" Werner said excitedly. "We are handing you a one-year player manager contract and if things work out, we will extend that and then you can become a permanent manager. You can make history again and more here Steven, I believe in you."

"Thanks, this is amazing, i wont let you down like."

I signed a contract Tom Werner pulled out of his bag and it was official.

A huge shock to some, and a bet worth putting money on for others as Steven Gerrard is appointed as Liverpool F.C manager.

I dont understand mate?

The Squad

I met my new players at Melwood, our official training ground. I introduced myself as the new player manager, everyone was shocked but Jamie Carrager who had been there at the time I was offered the contract.

After already being a part of the squad, and literally knowing everybody in and out and how they play, i knew who be the main leading men in our fight to be the Champions.

Jose Manuel Reina.
One of the best Goalkeepers in the Premier League, if not maybe one of the top 10 in the world! I am confident he'll boss this season, and will help us get to the top. He is first choice as there is no other keeper that matches up to his ability.

Daniel Agger.
Agger is currently injured but will be back in 4 weeks, and when he comes back im sure every team in the Premier League will be scared. He'll be my first-choice center-back when he recovers

Lucas Leiva.
The Brazilian midfielder with the most skills in the squad, yet with little finishing ability, I will be playing Leiva in the centre and he is my first choice. One of the best players among the squad, Lucas will be playing an important part of my reign at Liverpool.

Daniel Sturridge.
The English striker, and attacking winger, brought in from Chelsea, is showing every sign of becoming a quality Premier League finisher, and maybe one day one of the best attackers in the Premier League. He'll definitely be given chances to show what he's capable of this season as he is my first choice attacking midfielder on the right.

Luis Suarez
My first-choice striker for the season, Luis Suarez. I simply cannot forget his desire to ball the ball in the back of the net, however i will order him to not play dirty otherwise i will have no choice but to sell him.
Good start Liam :) nice squad there!

Thanks :D

The New Staff.

After needing a handfull of staff for the past few years, Steven Gerrard has brought in more than expected. All to help with the fight to becoming champions!
