Spanish Super Cup First Leg, Nou Camp

Zidane’s thoughts: A really disappointing game in which Barca dominated and you can see why they have. They passed us off the park and dominated at home but if we lose the Super Cup it is not the end of the world.

Toure Joins Real Madrid on Loan

Manchester City defender Kolo Toure has joined Real Madrid on a season long loan. The Ivorian has not been getting regular football at City so Real snapped him up on a loan deal. Real were struggling for numbers in defence so it was seen as a good idea to bring in the experienced centre half.

Zidane’s thoughts: A great game were we dominated a top team in the division. It’s a great start for the team and I want to build on this result to keep morale high and keep the team at the top.

Zidane’s thoughts: A good performance but not the right result. We dominated the game but we could not break them down at all. We will keep going through and pushing for results.
