15.08.12 – Baba Yara Sports Stadium – Friendly
Ghana v Uruguay

0 – 1
Gargano (49)

Review: "It was a difficult game and an emotional one too with the history between us. We lost but it was our first game together under the new era and I must say, we looked much better than Uruguay. I'm happy with the passion and commitment shown by us."
I hate Uruguay. This is terrible for the nation.

GHANA DRAW LIBERIA

Ghana has been drawn against Liberia for the African Cup of Nations Qualifying Second Round this October.

The game takes place on the 14th October in Liberia’s Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex and gives new boss Marcel Desailly another opportunity to test the players at his disposal.

Ghana will also face Canada away at the Saputo Stadium on the 14th November in a friendly that they are being touted as favourites.
Fodder. We'll wipe the floor with them.

14.10.12 – Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex – Second Round – 1st Leg
Liberia v Ghana

0 – 5
Asare (13) Jordan Ayew (21, 27, 81) Asamoah (38)

Review: Absolutely fantastic today against what I consider to be a weaker team. Jordan got the headlines but I was especially impressed by new boy Yartey. Him and Inkoom seem to have a strong bond on the right side of the field. Our midfield was where it was won today as they were in a completely different level to Liberia's, both technically and physically.

17.10.12 – Baba Yara Sports Stadium - Second Round – 2nd Leg
Ghana v Liberia

3 – 0

(8-0 agg.)
Yartey (1, 5) Asamoah (6)

Review: Played a weaker side this time and I’m pleased with the depth shown. Yartey was the one of the few to keep his place as I was intrigued to see how he done. He didn’t disappoint either.
Excellent two legged results, Ayew and Yartey look top class :D
I knew we would hammer them. Great results. :P

Christian Atsu replaces Albert Adomah and Richmond Boakeye gets a call up after impressing for Sassuolo.
