FC Steaua Bucharest 2-2 GNK Dinamo (Champions Cup Champions Playoff)

Goal-friendly Steaua drew 2-2 against Dinamo on a warm summer's evening at Steaua.

Winger Cristian Tănase got FC Steaua Bucharest off to a flyer by scoring a finish tucked away with consummate ease on 2 minutes. Winger Alexandru Chipciu doubled FC Steaua Bucharest's lead with a well struck effort on 31 minutes.

With GNK Dinamo staring at defeat, there was controversy as striker Fatos Beciraj then had a penalty shout turned down. Beciraj pulled one back for GNK Dinamo in the 62nd minute with a fierce effort from 22 metres out.

GNK Dinamo's equaliser came through Beciraj as he seized on Stefan Nikolic's mistake to score a tame effort. Beciraj's impact delighted the fans with his late goal.

Dinamo win the tie on away goals.
