Stay tuned, it's not the last we'll hear from him yet ;)

DUDU DEAL DONE

Dudu has successfully passed a medical after a £1.7 million move to Gremio was agreed with Dynamo Kiev.

The young Brazilian failed to make the impact expected in Ukraine and found himself swiftly on the unwanted list.

Ronaldo now offers the Dudu a getaway from Kiev with a chance to get his career back on track, becoming Gremio’s third signing of the season.

Dudu has admitted his pride in wearing the Gremio shirt, promising fans to deliver after a torrid experience abroad.

“Gremio has given me a chance and I want to repay all with great performances. I take great pride in representing them and hopefully we can have a strong year.”
Quality signing! Has been in superb form for me on my Dynamo save! Just scored a hattrick actually!

KELVIN SIGNS FOR GREMIO

Kelvin has today been presented as the latest Gremio signing by Director of Football, Rui Costa after the Brazilian passed a medical.

Gremio confirm the signing worth £3 million from FC Porto who signs a four year deal expiring in 2017.

The winger who can also play as a striker, failed to break into the Porto side and even spent time out on loan with Rio Ave but was moved on back to Brazil.

Ronaldo has admitted he’s followed Kelvin’s progression throughout his time in Portugal and declares he had no second thoughts about signing him.

“I follow many players progression abroad and Kelvin was one I expected to excel. He didn't but and I am glad we struck a deal.

“Kelvin is very good technically and we are in a position where he can help us as much as we can help him. We have signed a talented player under the right circumstances.”
You keep making amazing signings at extremely low prices! How do you do it??

Well, Kelvin's deal was to expire in 6 months and he was transfer listed. I just paid the asking price

RONALDINHO RETURNS HOME

Ronaldinho Gaucho has made a sensational return to Gremio after leaving Atletico Mineiro to agree a deal with his boyhood club.

Gremio stormed through to agree a deal with Ronaldinho after his contract expired with Atletico Mineiro, which sees him team up with former teammate Ronaldo.

The former World Player of the Year began his career at Gremio back in 1998 before signing for Paris Saint-Germain.

An impressive 2002 World Cup would see the Brazilian later move to Barcelona in 2003 in which he engraved his name in football folklore with his exuberant skills throughout five seasons.

Ronaldinho later moved to AC Milan before a short spell at Flamengo.

However, on his way out from Gremio will be striker Kleber who moves to Flamengo for a fee of £875,000.
Some great signings there mate!

Ooh, Ronny! His teeth supply the footballing ability :))

ELANO SLAMS RONALDO

Former Gremio midfielder Elano has launched a scathing attack at Brazilian legend and new Gremio manager Ronaldo following his departure to Zenit.

Elano has claimed Ronaldo left him isolated from his teammates in order to get rid of him, declaring to have lost all respect for the icon.

Ronaldo decided to sell Elano after reportedly believing he was earning too much in accordance to what he had to give to the club.

However, Elano has reacted angrily at the situation that surrounded him and questioned Ronaldo’s managerial capabilities.

“Management is more than just 4-4-2 and wins, draws and defeats. It is about relationships and respect and Ronaldo has fallen at the first hurdle.

“It almost seems as though there was a plot to get me out of the club because I didn’t get the chance to show what I can do.

“I don’t know if this was purely Ronaldo’s decision or he was influenced by someone else but I have lost total respect for him after being left to the side from night to day.

“There isn’t any stem to my departure because if the problems had been wages, I would have at least been approached to negotiate a new deal and Ronaldinho, with all due respect, would not have been signed. It’s lamentable!”
He's just jealous he didn't fit in! :P

Friendlies

ABC v Gremio

0 - 1
Ronaldinho (63)

Avai v Gremio

1 - 2
Vidalin (16) - Ronaldinho(2) Welliton(29)

A solid set of friendlies in which we done what was expected of us. I’m glad to see Ronaldinho settle in so quickly but his quality was always bound to do that. I feel we are ready to for the State Championship in which as it stands I make us strong favourite for.

GREMIO SIGN ROMARIO

Gremio has secured yet another signing after sealing a deal with young full back Romario from Vitoria.

Romario’s contract with Vitoria has expired and although the starlet continued to train with the club, he failed to come to an agreement over a renewal.

Gremio agreed to sign the Brazilian on a free for the next four seasons and he is believed to provide cover for first team right back, Para.

Romario will be available for Gremio’s first game versus Caxias for the opening stage of the Brazilian State Championship but is likely not participate having yet met up with the team for training.
