Andre Villas-Boas launches attack on Arsenal
http://i44.tinypic.com/11m4wf6.jpg
In a sensational twist, Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas has launched a full blown upper cut to the face of Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal board - metaphorically speaking.
Speaking to Sky Sports reporter, Bryan Law, the Tottenham manager unloaded a firestorm of bullets in the direction of the clubs North London Rivals.
"I think if you look at Arsenal, you must now consider them the second best team in North London. They have been lucky this season. To be where they are is astonishing. Especially after they've begun to sell a lot of their star players, such as Robin [Van Persie], Samir [Nasri], Alex [Song] and Cesc [Fabregas]. It would not surprise me if their next 'big-star' Jack Wilshere went."
Andre Villas-Boas was also questioned on Arsenal's likely hood to achieve a trophy this season.
"No. No, I do not see them being able to do it [win a trophy]. Many have shown that in order to win [trophies] you need to leave them. Samir Nasri, Van persie, Gael Clichy, Alex Song, Fabregas. All these players have left over the years and have gone on to win other trophies."
Tottenham are currently top of the table with sixteen games played and 42 points, while Arsenal are sat in fourth in 33 points.

I've no idea I equalized and then they ended up scoring like 30 seconds later

The January Transfer Window has opened
http://i43.tinypic.com/jszm69.png
It's that time of year again... This years window has already seen some money being splashed around - Spanish striker Roberto Soldado will be linking up with his new team-mates in North London, while Newcastle midfielder, Yohan Cabaye will now be getting his move to PSG after a month of waiting.
While the January transfer window is not known for the opening of wallets, this year could see a change.
Many squads are further down in the league than they would have hoped. Liverpool are currently occupying 8th place, while both Manchester teams and North London teams are starting to widen the gap between big spenders Chelsea, who are currently sat in 5th place.
The transfer dealings between clubs at the bottom can also play a huge part in deciding which teams are going to get relegated come the end of the season.
Crystal Palace are currently sat bottom with 13 points, while Fulham, Sunderland and Hull occupy 19th, 18th and 17th respectively on a total of 15 points.

EXCLUSIVE: Tottenham looking at winger, while TWO strikers could leave!
http://i42.tinypic.com/25r2uev.png
Tottenham Hotspur could pounce on one of Europe's brightest prospects after it has been confirmed by an inside source they are currently looking for a new winger.
"The manager is looking [at him.] He feels that he would be an upgrade on Clint [Dempsey] and Aaron [Lennon.] But, that's not to say that they are going to leave just yet."
"Andre likes having depth in the squad, and believes that the new addition will add that to his game. He also feels that the player will get more game time by moving to Tottenham. By slowly introducing him into the squad, it will hopefully allow him to get use to the way that Tottenham play, and would mean that he could be a replacement if either of them [Lennon and Dempsey] left in the summer."

It is also believed that Manager Andre Villas-Boas could ship out two strikers after the arrival of Spanish hit-man Roberto Soldado.
The likely causalities are to be Adebayor on a permanent basis, after is believed that AVB has become frustrated with the players lack of commitment. The other possible depature could be new signing Oliveira on a loan to help him get more game time - Newcastle United are said to be intrested.
The manager will also try to ship out un-wanted Goalkeeper Gomes to help free up wages.
Just looked at the previous updates and they are great. Dont like the AVB rant at all
