Introduction

Viking FK appoint Henrik Steinnes as new manager

The unknown Norwegian manager Henrik Steinnes was today presented as the new manager of Viking FK. He has signed a contract expiring already in December 2013. Is this a sign of doubt inside the club?

Season expectations

The board's expectations is that the club will finish on the upper half of the table. For the first season this is an expectation I will have enough work to complete as it's my first save on FM13. I have been given £579,000 and £38,000 as initial budget. It is not a big squad and the lack of defenders is what frightens me, so finding a new defender will be first priority.

Hope you will enjoy my story. Feedback and advice will be appriceated!

Good Luck :) Always interesting to see a lesser known league in use

Hammer-deal done

Viking have confirmed the signing of Norwegian defender Jørgen Hammer from Stabæk. The 21-year old has signed a 4-year deal worth £750 p/w. The transfer fee is reported to be £100,000. Hammer has told in an interview with the local newspaper that he looks forward to play for Viking and fighting for a place in the starting XI.

Good luck, I know Landu Landu is a hidden gem on Fifa, hopefully he's as good on FM ;)
