I have done all I came to do...Accomplished all that is possible. Won the biggest prize in African football... The African Champions league. I have no purpose here anymore, sure I can add to my trophy tally, but for the first time I'm lacking any sort of challenge, the thing I crave the most.

I'm going to have to leave, I'm not sure if it's for the best, but it's my final answer, I don't want to look back now. I mean there's a lot I love about this place. Amazing scenery, dazzling heat and an amazing community, I think I need a new outlook though...

It's just going to be hard, leaving the club I've grown to love so much, a club I can actually say I succeeded at and with. I've grown up amazing bonds with all of my staff and players, I've developed average strikers like Dicko and Mahmoud into some on the best ST's in Africa, both also being closely scouted by high division European teams.

But the thing I'll miss most of all is the support of the fans. Sure, they come in small numbers, and sure they don't always have my back, but that's just football. There wouldn't be anything if it wasn't for the fans. It'd be nice to know what they think of my work here actually, I may try to find out soon.

Anyway, time to find a new job...

Club Atlético Colón



Colón are a professional football club in Argentina. However, even though they are a pretty well known team across most of the world, their trophy colection as a laughing stock. They play at Estadio Brigadier General Estanislao López.

Brief History

Club Atlético Colón was formed in 1905. In that time they have only managed to win the opening and closing stages of the Argentine Premier Division, both won in 2014. They do however have a really strong side, that is capable of winning the title again fairly easily, now in 2016.


Stadium
Club Atlético Colón play their homes games at the Estadio Brigadier General Estanislao Lópe, which holds around 32,500 people.



Rivals
Colón's biggest rivals are Club Atlético Unión de Santa Fe. Other rivals Include Newell's, Rosario Central & Atl.Rafaela.
