So, as fm 14 approaches my updates have and will be pretty slow. This is mainly because I haven't the time to play fm or write about it, spending most of my time studying law, and trying to pull of course;) Anyway, After leaving Ittihad I asked some important followers to leave their opinions on the story so far and just write about their opinions on it in whatever way they wanted, so here they are :)

"Ah, the Pentagon Challenge, one of the most fearsome, and most feared challenges out there for Football Manager. But despite this fear, Lucas has taken it on with both hands, and has provided us with a great read, and a great save to follow. It will be sad to see you leave Ittihad, but it has to be done. My highlight of the story would be the Champions League Victory, but I still don't think that makes Steve Kean a good manager. Maybe at the end of the challenge. Here's to another magnificent 20 pages, and to more Champions League glory."-edu1878

"I think ittihad have done fantasticly over the lengthy time under the reign of jean! Steve kean has not only turned them into a force in egypt but also a force to be reckoned with throughout Africa, Steve jean has gone from zero to hero and I can't wait to see where he ends up next!"-AaronHJFT96

"Kean took over with us in 11th place. He instantly took us up the table for a top half finish but I wasn’t convinced, personally. After all, how much did Blackburn fans hate him? After the season came a major squad revamp. I thought it would hurt the team’s harmony massively. Then he took us straight to the top of the table. A good start, I put it down as. We would crumble. We didn’t. We won every game next month and all but one in October, a draw with Al Ahly. We won some more. By the new year we were top by 10 points. On a mild mid-spring afternoon we scraped past Wadi Degla away from home. And won the title. I still thought Kean would leave or lose his touch. As is becoming a recurring theme I was wrong again. We won the cup and league double that year. Next year, was Ittihad’s year to prove me wrong again, but in the Champions League. We beat FC 105 of Gabon. We beat Stade Malien of Mali. We beat TP Mazembe and we were in the Group stage. Before we had any games in that we had won the league again. And then the group stage too. Wow. Kean was a magician taking Ittihad to the mountains like the bunny in his proverbial hat. And that made no sense, but still. WE WON THE SEMI FINAL OF THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE! We beat Al Ahly 6-2 on aggregate. We drew the final’s first leg 1-1 with Wysab Casablanca. And we won the second leg 2-1! WE WON 2-1! CHAMPIONS OF AFRICA! And with only Kean to thank. All of Alexandria wishes him well."-Louis O.(From a fans perspective :P)

If I get anymore sent then I'll add them onto the post, and thanks again to all for following, means a lot :)
Ever since Steve Kean, an English 'flop', some people would say, joined Ittihad, the club has reached it's best ever time yet. The tinkering of the manager would see him win the Champions League, their own domestic league and cup, and if that wasn't enough, he brought in world-class players that would revamp the sales of the club. Starting from a 11th place to winning doubles and other titles, the manager is surely to be given another shot at a big club. However, their former manager, Steve Kean, will be seeking a new club after his resignation, but before he left, he has surely changed how Ittihad runs the club, and will remain a legend at the Jeddah based-club. Whether he will return in the future, will be determined over time..

Dear Lucas,
Even though you look like a 12 year-old Justin Bieber fan, you did pretty damn well with this story. I can count on the number of people that have chickened out of the Pentagon Challenge, but you for one, tried your best, and succeeded in different parts of the world. This story is perhaps one of the most underrated in the site at the moment (can't pick others lawl jkjk). If we even were to see a new Pentagon Challenge story, the bar will be set very high, after some fantastic results, but even better, a fantastic writer.

Cheerio,
Pauk.

My little speech :P

In the words of Vitor Martins, who side faced Kean's in a friendly tournament ;)

Vitor Martins:
I think that this story is a true testament to Steve Kean's ability, and his triumph in the final was the cherry on top. Stars like Glaydson, Mahmoud and Dicko acted as if they grown up with each other. The tactics you successfully experimented with and got some of the finest results out of is also a fine example of your managerial progress. I know no European will ever accept you.. but in all honesty.. it was a pleasure to lose to you.

And beat you 3-0!!!!!!!!! :))
