April Review

In what was a surprisingly short month, we suffered our first defeat of the campaign. However, we started the month continuing our rich goal scoring form, banging five past Portland with an Ianni hat-trick. Then moving on to a potentially tough New York, we scored 3 more goals in yet another victory. Toronto proved to be a step too far for my boys, as we suffered a 2-0 loss in a really poor game of football. It was good to see Wondo and Johnson put the ball in the net often.

The strikers had been putting in the work, but it was at the back where I was more impressed. Patrick Ianni's hat-trick, and regular "brick wall" performances make him a top player.

Even though we suffered our first defeat, we still sat top of the western conference.
I'm really liking this story mate.

Especially with how Dempsey has signed with Seattle IRL, shows quite a lot. Watching for each update because it is set up really nicely. Keep it up!

Mad May

My stomach had dropped when I found out that the first three games of this month were away, but it's safe to say I was pretty confident at the end. Los Angles is never an easy place to go, but coming away with a clean sheet and 2 goals was a real boost for the rest of the month. Two more clean sheets followed against Colorado and Fc Dallas, winning 3-0 and 4-0 respectively. To have 3 away games in a row was tough, but to come away with maximum points, and not a single goal conceded made it all worth while. It was time to face Galaxy again, but this time on our own turf. They put up a good fight, and they left with 1 point, pulling it back to 2-2. In all due respect for Rochester, I was overly confident going into that game, and the final score proved that I should have been. I fielded a relatively young and inexperienced team, but we still came home with a win and 5 goals scored, Will Bates scoring a brace.

Wondolowski had bagged 6 goals in 3 games this month taking his goal tally to 16 already! He proved to be a good buy, and I was proud to have spotted his ability early on in my tenure as Seattle boss.

The impressive run of clean sheets left us sitting firmly on top.

After a long and hard fought campaign, Manchester City (Under Roberto Mancini) have defended the premier league title. The championship came down to the final day with City needing to avoid defeat against Swansea, whilst rivals United needed a win against Stoke. The citizens managed a 3-0 win, whilst the red devils could only muster a 1-1 draw, leaving City on top for the second time in two seasons.

With reports at the start of the season that Mancini could face the sack, this consecutive league win will have surely cemented his place at the Etihad. "It was an incredible moment" said Mancini. Watch the full interview here;

We Will Play New England Revolution In The Semi Finals

June Review

The month saw us defeated for the second time since the start of the campaign, but had gotten off to the best possible start. I was feeling confident for both Colorado games in this month, and the first showed me why, 3-1 winners and a comfortable performance. Again, I knew Los Angles was going to be tough having drawn 2-2 previously, but despite them going ahead we took the advantage and came away 2-1 winners. Next was a trip for the Canadian side, as Montreal came to town, and had to face the journey back losing 2-0. The second Colorado game was upon us, but we managed to lose this one 2-1, even though we had won so comfortably earlier on. The Kansas city was nothing to shout about, so I won't dwell on it, but the Houston game saw a confident 3-0 victory with Noah Holden getting on the score sheet, leaving us a interesting game against New England.

There has been no real stand out player who has impressed me this month, but in terms of consistency, it'll have to go to Marvell Wynne. He hadn't had the easiest starts in Seattle, but this month of solid performances shows that he is on the up.

This month has been impressive, but has seen us drop down into 2nd position, with Real Salt Lake taking top spot.

Bust Up At Sounders Training Camp

Shocking news as Seattle's DeAndre Yedlin and Leonardo Gonzalez are involved in a training ground scrap earlier today. It is unsure what started the fight, but we can confirm that it lasted 5-10 minutes before being broken up my experienced midfielder Shalrie Joseph.

Manager, Daniel Abbott, declared that his players were "unavailable to talk to about this matter" but that he is "dealing with it appropriately". With harmony reportedly low in the Seattle camp, Abbott may be forced to sell the player responsible for starting the scrap.

More on this story as it develops.

More On Sounders Bust Up

After reports had broken earlier that there had been a training ground bust up at Seattle Sounders, Daniel Abbott has now spoken to the media about it.

"I can confirm that a training ground scrap occurred earlier on today, for the interest of both parties I can not announce what started it. Having spoken about what's best for both players in terms of their future at the club, I have taken the necessary actions. As a result, Leonardo will be off to Kansas, whilst DeAndre is off to Tampa Bay. I can also put to bed the reports that harmony amongst our squad is very low, we are on a high and a rich vein of form and squad harmony could not be higher at the moment. That is all I need to say, I will not be taking questions."

MLSSoccer.com can confirm that Leonardo Gonzalez has moved to Sporting Kansas City for £28K + 1 D.A, whilst DeAndre Yedlin has merely been sent on loan to Tampa Bay Rowdies.

Gonzalez's future at Seattle is cut short, whilst Yedlin's is still in the balance
