Hibernian have today released full back Tim Clancy following a clash with manager Terry Butcher. Clancy was unhappy with the lack of first team football he was getting at Easter Road and Butcher had this to say about his departure: "Tim came into my office this morning. He sat down and explained what he thought. I told him that he would have to earn his spot in the first team and he completely exploded. His attitude and professionalism absolutely stinks and he couldn't be at this club anymore". This shows that Butcher is obviously running a tight ship at Easter Road and so far, it's working and the fans are happy with the football being played.
Spanish winger completes Hibs move

26 year old Spanish winger, Ayoze Garcia has joined Hibernian on a three-year deal. Ayoze joins Hibs after leaving Sporting Gijon in the summer and will be on around £3.5k per week at Easter Road. Butcher: "We've done really well to get Ayoze in as there was offers to him from clubs down South in England and abroad in his home country of Spain. He's a pacey, direct winger who will give teams more things to think about and I look forward to seeing him play and working closely with him at Hibs".
Pele returns to Portugal

Hibernian midfielder, Pele has been allowed to return back to Portugal as he is struggling to settle in Edinburgh. We caught up with Terry Butcher at the training ground and he had this to say: "Pele is a young lad who is miles away from home. We've offered to move his family over to Edinburgh but they wanted to stay in Portugal which is understandable. Therefore, we've given Pele permission to go back for a while before returning later in the future. He's a great player and will be missed but he'll be back as a better and stronger player and ready to pull on the jersey once more".
Eoin Doyle leaves Hibernian

Eoin Doyle has left Easter Road by mutual consent just a week after the departure of fellow Irishman, Tim Clancy. Doyle's departure comes as no surprise as he found himself way down the pecking order with the arrivals of Kris Boyd and Darius Vassell with the likes of Leigh Griffiths, Shefki Kuqi and young prospects, Danny Handling and Ross Caldwell at the club. Everyone at Hibernian would like to wish Eoin all the best for the rest of his career.
