
Pellegrini resigns
http://strettynews.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Pellegrini.jpgManchester City haven't had life made easy for them over the previous couple of weeks, but to make it worse; recently appointed Manuel Pellegrini has resigned from his role as City boss and returned to his previous job at Malaga. Fans are disappointed however the media as well as many other did have suspicions considering the recent events of administration as well as Pellegrini giving hints towards resignation in the press recently.
The City board announced a statement saying "We respect the decision made by Manuel, we understand his concern for the club but he clearly doesn't feel confident enough to help!"
Fans have already been put through their paces with all of the recent events that have occured of the previous weeks but they are all devastated. With no money, no manager, but most of all no hope!
When interviewed, Chief Executive of the PFA Gordon Taylor OBE said "It is a tricky time and situation for Manchester City football club but sadly there is nothing we can do to help the club in anyway. We are already having numerous meetings with their board of directors to come to conclusions like managers, money, which division will they play in and also, point deductions as well. To be honest, their club is an absolute train wreck!"
Manchester City FC have released a short statement to gather the fans by saying "This is a time when all of the fans must help work with the club in this tricky situation. You will have to stay put with what is happening and if you're a true fan, you will continue to not only follow us but also believe in us!"
