FIGUEROA COMPLETES HAWTHORNS SWITCH

Wigan full-back, Maynor Figueroa has completed a £3.3m move to West Brom. The 29 year old joins West Brom on a three-year contract having spent 5 years at Wigan. Dunbar: "Were way short at left back at this moment and Maynor comes into the squad and strengthens that up. He's a great professional and athlete. Hopefully he can reproduce the form he showed last season at the DW Stadium and prove he's worth the price tag".

PRE-SEASON REVIEW

PRE-SEASON MATCHES

An excellent pre-season in terms of performances and results for The Baggies with 5 out of a possible 6 wins with the only defeat coming at the hands of Dutch giants, Ajax. 4 away wins in England against Bath, Chester, Crewe and Sheffield United before the pre-season was rounded off with a deserved 2-0 win against Italian outfit, Roma at The Hawthorns.

PRE-SEASON TRANSFERS

I am pleased with the way we have gone about our business in the transfer market so far but that doesn't mean we are 100% finished. I have high hopes Diame and Montero. Benayoun I am pretty confident will do well. Figeuroa was a rushed buy in all honesty as I couldn't find a good, cheap left back but he is a full star better than my next best player in that position and will hopefully prove he's worth the price. I offered Mulumbu a new deal but £17m was too good to turn down for me and helped me overall improve the squad in my opinion. No clubs wanted Jerome Thomas so it was all about getting him off the books as quick as possible and hopefully the young lad gets some decent experience out on loan.

Good results! Ajax is a big club so not a terrible result.

Yeah, wasn't a bad result but still would've liked to have at least scored :P
Sorry folks. Been busy past few days. Setting up game just now so expect updates soon.
AUGUST REVIEW

RESULTS

A decent way to start the season for West Brom despite an opening day defeat away to Southampton losing 1-0, albeit undeservedly through a late Rickie Lambert winner. We bounced back with the 4-1 hammering of Reading with Odemwingie on the score sheet and a hat trick from Lukaku. at The Hawthorns before rounding off the month by avoiding a potential banana skin with a confident display and a 2-0 victory away to Barnsley thanks to goals from Lukaku and Fortune.

SEPTEMBER PREVIEW

September begins with two tricky away matches against West Ham and Everton with a following home match against QPR. We then host Brighton in the Capital One Cup before ending the match with another game at The Hawthorns against Newcastle.

DIAME INJURY BLOW FOR BAGGIES

West Brom midfielder, Mohamed Diame has been ruled out for around 5-6 weeks with a broken arm. Diame has made a very bright start to his West Brom career after his £3.5m move from West Ham this summer and his presence will undoubtedly be missed for Roberto Di Matteo and his side.

And the fact it was a friendly...
Diames injured?! Crap!

Great Updates matey!
So sad to say that I received my laptop today after having it fixed and I have lost everything on my computer which sadly includes my West Brom game :( I will be starting a new game tonight... Sorry.
