A potentially serious injury suffered by Gateshead's Ben Davies overshadowed events on what was a wet afternoon at The International Stadium. The clash of the two best clubs in the league produced a drab match.

Corbin-Ong http://www.footballzz.co.uk/img/jogadores/70/192770_la_vere_corbin_ong.jpgscored from the penalty spot after Clark gave away a penalty. Midfielder Liam Walker equalised for Gateshead after 77 minutes with a free kick from the edge of the area.

Then followed controversy as Danefield United were denied claims by midfielder Harry Pell for a penalty. Corfos bellowed at his team in the dying moments to push forward and seek what would of been a winning goal.It was never to arrive, however United will be more than happy in maintaining their 23 game unbeaten run.

http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac358/Ahiya_Level/MANAGERSPEAKSFM_zpsd2794baa.jpgWelcome one and all to what will be a tremendous occasion of festivity and celebration. We cannot wait to parade the trophy in front of our faithful fans, but first we have to take care of business and beat our visitors today. A win would be a fitting end to a season send off. This will be the first time in our history, we have no cup final to look forward to. However our objective was always to get promotion, and our players have lived up to their promise.
http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac358/Ahiya_Level/MANAGERSREALTALK_zps5c314ee0.jpg Tonight sees England play a World Cup Qualifier they simply cannot afford to lose.I want to see England in the coming World Cup tournament but I have mixed feelings over whether it would be worth qualifying. I'd prefer Glenn Hoddle to get full control on remodelling English Football and give him 10 years to do it. I'm not sure as to who we are even playing tonight (Ukraine I think)such is my excitement. I'm more concerned with United's upcoming Premier league game.

Danefield United FC 2-0 Chorley FC (Blue Square Bet North)

On a wet afternoon at Danefield United Stadium, Danefield United's La'Vere Corbin-Ong lived the dream of many a supporter as he lifted the Blue Square Bet North title.

Midfielder Rashid Yussuffhttp://images.icnetwork.co.uk/upl/hounslowchron/feb2012/9/6/rashid-yussuff-image-1-953423726.jpg gave Danefield United FC the lead with a firm diving header in the 14th minute. The last goal of the game came from goalkeeper James Spencer whose 44th minute own-goal will undoubtedly cause him some embarrassment.
United Manager Corfos said afterwards "It was an effective showing from us today and nothing more. Thats all you can ask when you've won the league since January. Our job now is hold onto as many key players as possible and release those we feel can be replaced by younger legs. Some will ask why we will not be keeping players like Armand Gnanduillet who had a good season. The simple answer is we cannot afford the money to keep guys like him."

Football.guardian.co.uk have published their season review for 2015/16, featuring the English domestic competitions from the Premier League to the Somerset Premier Cup.

The season culminated with Danefield United FC lifting the Blue Square Bet North title and United http://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/~goldkeep/Holland74/picAjax1.jpg and Gateshead looking forward to the prospect of playing at a higher level next season. Danefield United's Kwesi Appiah was the competition's top scorer with thirty-six goals.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the table, it was misery for Bradford Park Avenue, Ilkeston FC and Chorley FC as they faced the agony of relegation.

United will kick-off the Blue Square Bet Premier season with a trip to recently relegated Hartlepool United on Saturday 6th August. United's first match at home will be against newly-promoted Kettering Town on Tuesday 9th August.

Meanwhile, the traditional Boxing Day fixture sees United entertain Kidderminster Harriers at home.

United's last scheduled fixture is away to penniless Cheltenham Town on Monday 17th April at Whaddon Road.

United were absolutely brilliant last season and it took sometime for The Hardmen to name their Best Eleven, annouced by supporter spokesperson, Guy Hayes.

Kwesi Appiah was the pick of the players, the striker having made 52 appearances and scored 44 goals for the team at an average rating of 7.59 this season.

The rest of the Best Eleven squad was: Alexandr G, La'Vere Corbin-Ong, Armand Gnanduillet, Ali Gordon, Ashley Hemmings, Fergus Kenny, Daniel Leadbitter, Keanu Marsh-Brown, Joe Martin, Jon McLaughlin, Harry Pell, Andy Procter, Bobby Reid, Lawrence Vigouroux, Liam Wakefield, Gary Weafer-Joyce and Rashid Yussuff.

Guy announced that five players have been considered good enough to enter the Danefield United Overall Best Eleven.

Kwesi Appiah was the pick of the five players, the striker having accumulated 81 club appearances and scoring 76 goals at a career average rating of 7.68.

wingers Ashley Hemmings and Keanu Marsh-Brown joins Keeper Jon McLaughlin and Midfielder Rashid Yussuffhttp://www.afcwimbledon.co.uk/cms_images/common/rashid-joy-72184-255541_478x359.jpg to become a part of Danefield United's proud history.

Manager Corfos Oldmanhttp://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac358/Ahiya_Level/MANAGER5_zps59d4b712.png who was recently listed as a club icon recently spoke to Match Magazine about the new season.

"Last season was far too easy for us but for this new season we have been tipped to battle against relegation.Their are far too many clubs in this division that are on a par with us or even bigger in stature. I cannot afford to make any errors at all and the key to a mid table finish will lie in shrewd loan signings. I need to identify the very best players available on loan and then somehow entice them to United."

However having assembled this seasons squad I will be disappointed if we didn't at least finish in the top half of the table. Without tempting fate at such an early stage, their is more than a chance of promotion. We are very strong in midfield and attack, however questions remain on the wings and in defence."

The striker has impressed for The Robins over the past month with a series of decent performances.

There was nothing to choose between the top three and the award could easily have gone to either Dartford's Jake Cunningham or Theo Wharton http://mauveandyellowarmy.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Wharton.jpg from Danefield United, on loan from Cardiff City, who came second and third respectively.

Danefield United FC have lost 1-2 to Stockport County to record their first defeat in the Blue Square Bet Premier for fifteen games.

With this result, Hardmen's improbable early season form has come to an abrupt end.

Though the team are up with the anticipated title challengers, this league defeat suggests a slide down the table may be on the cards.United fans were questioning their manager's tactics following defeat as their side's winning run came to an end.http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02542/kiddy-harriers_2_2542079b.jpg

Oldman's decision to scrap a successful 4-4-2 formation and switch to a previously untested 4-3-1-2 proved disastrous as Danefield United slumped to defeat.

Things did not get off to a good start for Danefield United FC as midfielder Jimmy Keohane seized on an error by Michael Spillane to score a weak close range effort. Full-back Danny Groves had a moment he will quickly want to forget about in the 73rd minute when he contrived to put the ball into his own net. Former player Armand Gnanduillet celebrated victory over his former club. Gnanduillet clinched a late winner on 92 minutes with a good header from just inside the six-yard box.

Gnanduillet's impact delighted the fans with his late goal.

After a 2-2 draw at Edgar Street against Danefield United FC, a key member of the Hereford United side claimed that his team were fortunate to escape from this Blue Square Bet Premier fixture with a draw. Hereford troubled The Great Danes to begin with but were gradually worn down.

Midfielder Alex Osborn gave Hereford United the lead with a nice effort from 11 metres in the 15th minute. Striker Kevin MacDonald then equalised for Danefield United FC in the 31st minute with a real poacher's effort from 13 metres.

Young striker Macauley Davies put Hereford United in front in the 39th minute with a fierce shot which went in off the post. Hereford United were nearly gifted a goal on 57 minutes through Jamie Tank's lapse in concentration but they failed to capitalise on the opportunity presented to them.

MacDonald equalised for Danefield United FC after 60 minutes with an accurate finish. MacDonald is reportedly unsettled at Danefield United Stadium and there could be cause for speculation as to whether the player will remain at the club much longer.

Danefield United: 1-6 (Fav) Draw: 5-1 Macclesfield Town: 10-1 (Blue Square Bet Premier)

FA Trophy semi-finalists Danefield United are sure-fire favourites to overwhelm penniless Macclesfield Town in what should be a comfortable home encounter for the Hardmen, according to Sky Bet.

The Great Danes are currently on a six match unbeaten run and the promotion contenders are enjoying 1st place in the Blue Square Bet Premier.United have won four of their last five home league games. Danefield may concede the league advantage to Hartlepool United due to still being involved in cup competitions which could prove to be distractions, whereas their title rivals have no such problems.

Macclesfield Town have been disappointing in the Blue Square Bet Premier this season and find themselves below expectations in 20th place. Macclesfield Town have lost four of their last five away league games.

The referee for the match will be Charles Breakspear.

Welcome to todays game everybody. This week we celebrate our adventures in the FA Trophy, having overcome Chester 5-2 at home to reach the final. Today we will need again your passionate vocal support to motivate us not to take our opponents for granted. Every point is vital from now on to maintain our points gap ahead of Hartlepool Utd.

Unfortunately we are still without the excellent Rashid Yusseff due to a thigh strain and reliable defender Michael Spillane who has tendonitis. Yusseff is amongst the leagues most creative players having created 15 assists this season. We are currently trying to sign Fulhams Lyle Della Verde who although valued at 180k Fulham want to get rid of him for as little as 12k.If we can pull it off it will be a fantastic signing for us especially if we play next season in a higher league.

However apart from a glorious Rooney 30 yard pass volleyed against the bar by RVP we seemed short again on creativity. Both goals came via deadball situations including in a dodgy Pen. Nice to Fellanni come on as sub as he did well. However watching my home town club Spurs is making me very jealous as there team is now incredible. I've been raving about Erickson for 3 years now and he's still only 21. I said he will take the prem by storm and true to the word he's made a great start.

Harry Pell was the focus for the media as his new club Macclesfield Town drew with Danefield United, Pell's former club.It always seems to follow that ex players always play well and Pell was no exception. He dented United's title aspirations and now the pressure is really on as The Great Danes are now only 1 point clear of Hartlepool with a game in hand.

Experienced midfielder Andy Procter's red card for a bad tackle on 22 minutes put Danefield United FC's position under question. Yet with ten men they seemed capable still of the win.Striker Kwesi Appiah gave Danefield United FC the lead with a powerful effort in the 35th minute.

When Conroy gave away a penalty, Appiah confidently stepped up to score from the spot. An error from Danefield United FC's Adam Bartlett allowed centre-back Tony Diagne to score a close range finish which was timed impeccably. With Danefield United FC already beginning to celebrate, Diagne scored a close range diving header in injury-time to snatch the equaliser for Macclesfield Town.

Better late than never for Macclesfield Town and the fans were clearly delighted with Diagne's impact.
