Eric Cantona's First Press Conference


R: So, Eric you sit here as the new manager of Real Madrid how does it feel?
EC: It feels amazing to be part of such a fantastic club, I can't wait to get started!

R: Do the facilities at Real help with your job?
EC: The facilities are certainly a big help, and I'm grateful to Florentino Perez for providing these facilities!

R: What are your plans for Real Madrid?
EC: To keep tradition going and win trophy after trophy

R: Do you have a starting 11 in mind, or do you intend to give everybody a chance?
EC: No I don't have a starting 11 in mind, everybody deserves a chance to show me what they have got!

R: What tactics will you use at Madrid?
EC: I intend to bring an attacking game to Madrid, hopefully I can score lots of goals and win the league!

R: That will be all for today, we hope you have a long and successful career at Real Madrid
EC: Thankyou very much!

Cantona Sells First His First Players!


Activity in the transfer market for Real Madrid, but NOT buying Eric Cantona has decided to sell players first 4 players infact. Down below are the players that he sold, and details of the prices

Number 1
Ricardo Carvalho - A.C Milan 1.4m
Old Player wasn't in my plans for the season

Kaka - Manchester City 10m
Good player but a little to old, got a nice price for him

Raul Albiol - VFL Wolfsburg 10m
Not alot to say, got a nice price so I thought I would take it

Jose Callejon - Montpellier HSC 5.5m
Only a fringe player at the club, and he probably wouldn't get a game

Another Player Leaves Madrid!

Sami Khedira is the latest player to leave Real Madrid. This leaves Madrid fans worried why Cantona is selling players at a fast rate, but hasn't signed anyone yet. Real Madrid did receive a nice 13 million sum for Khedira. When questioned Khedira had this to say " I have loved my time at Madrid, but unfortunately I haven't got on very well with the new manager so I thought it was time for a change. I want to thank the Madrid fans for supporting me and I wish the club all the best for the future"

WOW! A great month 4 wins out of 4. 13 goals scored in the process and ONLY conceded 2 overall a truly brilliant pre-season and I can't wait for the season to start if we preform like this! COME ON MADRID!
