Well, we sit in 5th place in La Liga. We have only played 2 games, but we did get the win against Valencia in the first game. Elsewhere, we WON the Super Cup by a whopping 7-0 scoreline against La Liga rivals FC Barcelona. Overall, I am very happey with how the team played in my first full month in charge, the 2 new signings blended in well with the rest of them team. Hopefully we can pick up some points in the league, and I will be a very happy manager. Peace Out :)[/center

As you can see, we have been handed a tough group in the Uefa Champions League. BUT, we are Real Madrid and when you have a great squad like we have then anything is possible. A mad Transfer Deadline Day for Real Madrid and Eric Cantona, where he bought a player in, but also let one go. Let's talk about the sold player first, he goes by the name of Gonzalo Higuain. Yes, this may come as a shock to all you Madrid fans but Cantona has brought in a replacement just as good. Cantona sold Higuain for a nice rounded some of 20m, which he used to buy........Javier Hernandez from Manchester United. When asked my Marca.com Cantona had this to say on the players "I think we have done a great piece of business, Higuain would not have got a game in my Madrid team and we got a nice figure for him. I like Hernandez he is pacy and can score lots of goals for us this. This leaves Madrid fans wondering what will happen to Karim Benzema.... I guess we will have to wait to find out
