Bayern Munich finalise youngster deal

http://estaticos.elmundo.es/elmundodeporte/imagenes/2012/08/18/futbol/1345318178_0.jpg
Bayern Munich manager Mark van Bommel has made his first signing in the form of striker Fabrice Olinga, who moved from Malaga. Olinga, 17, told Sky Sports News that he is ecstatic with the deal, and that he hopes to make a good start at his new club.

This is the statement from Bayern's new £3.5m man: "Joining Bayern is literally a dream come true. I'm absolutely ecstatic with the deal, a club like Bayern is a team you can't refuse to play for in the end. I'm particularly looking forward to playing perhaps alongside Frank Ribéry, Arjen Robben and Thomas Muller, who I hope will all be at Bayern in the hopefully not too distant future. If I could make a good start at Bayern, I'd be in dreamland. I thank Mark van Bommel, as well as all the Bayern and Malaga board, for making this move possible."

Some fans have compared van Bommel's transfer approach to the approaches of Arséne Wenger, who at Arsenal is known to spend his money on youngsters. Whether this is a compliment or an insult is yet to be known, but many fans have lashed out at the deal, asking how the Cameroonian can help defend the Champions League and Bundesliga titles, as well as winning the upcoming UEFA Super Cup.

Good signing but you need to get Will Hughes in and play Martinez as an Anchor DM :P
Alavanja Pervection :P

Bayern capture Roma star

Youth seems to be the answer for Bayern, as today they revealed the signing of Roma's Erik Lamela. The 20 year-old was unveiled as a Bayern player at a press conference with FourFourTwo a few hours ago. Both Lamela and manager Mark van Bommel had some words to say for the football magazine.

van Bommel spoke first, saying: "While I am focusing on youth, Lamela is already a quality player who will get many appearances for us this season. I strongly believe Erik can make a positive impact on and off pitch as a Bayern player, and I'm delighted to have captured his signature, after a heated rivalry from teams such as Real Madrid, Chelsea, Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain. The deal will rise up to £23m, but we have paid Roma £14.5m right now, with monthly installments until 2015. I think I speak on behalf of many Bayern fans by saying we look forward to seeing Erik play for our club, and wish him a long, successful career with us."

Lamela followed, with this statement: "To even be linked with a move to Bayern is astonishing, but to be a Bayern Munich player is an honour, one I could never have believe I'd take on. I promise that I won't let any player, fan or board member down, as £23m isn't cheap. I hope I can win trophies, awards and all sorts as a Bayern player, and that I can be there until I retire. I thank van Bommel, the board, and every single Bayern or Roma fan who has supported me through my career, and will support me in the new jounrey I'm about to embark on."

Fans have expressed their delight at Lamela's signing, and have branded van Bommel as the 'leader of a new revolution' for the club.

Awesome signing, Alex. Loving this story so far, keep it up.

Bayern's Deadline Day Full of Excitement - 2 in, 1 out

Bayern's deadline day wasn't lacking in deals, as two players come into the team, and 1 player leaving. The two players signed for Bayern shoot their spending total for the transfer window up to £52m, while they have received £9.75m in outings. Mark van Bommel spent his money wisely on the players he bought, as any of the 4 signings could've been signed for a lot more than what they got.

The first signing on deadline day was the completion of the Marc-André ter Stegen saga, as he joined for a fee of £15m from Borussia Monchengladbach. The club had expressed their interest in ter Stegen many weeks ago, and it is just today that the deal had been completed.

ter Stegen said to Sky Sports News: "I'm relieved that the saga sending me to Bayern is finally over, and that I have actually joined the club. I enjoyed my time at Gladbach but I'm optimistic ahead of my new adventure with Bayern. I'm thankful to all my fans, teammates, anyone who has shown hope in me, and I'm delighted to start the new month as a Bayern Munich player."

The final signing of deadline day to Bayern was the surprise signing of Brazilian hope Adryan, who joins Die Bayern for a fee that will go up to £10m from Brazilian side Flamengo. Bayern has showed no interest in the midfielder until today, and van Bommel was delighted that the deal was completed quickly.

van Bommel said to the press: "Adryan was not at all a panic buy, only a hidden signing. We had been interested in the signing for a few weeks now, but all looked unlikely. However, I didn't give in, and I'm delighted with the speed of the signing. I hope Adryan and ter Stegen, both our deadline day deals, can make a positive impact on the team."

The player leaving the Allianz Arena is fellow Brazilian Luiz Gustavo, who leaves for a speculated fee of £9.75m to Italian club A.C. Milan. While losing Gustavo has disappointed a few fans, many are understanding of the deal, and are happy with the amount of money recieved for a back-up player.

van Bommel, being swamped with questions, released this statement online: "While we will miss Luiz, I couldn't find a place for him in the team. A.C. Milan are a very successful team, and I am happy for Luiz for being able to get this first team chance. I send all my best wishes and good luck to Luiz on all his endeavours, and wish him a successful career with not only Milan, but with any club he may join."

It wasn't just rush for Bayern, as many other deals in the Premier League and La Liga were completed today. If you want to see these deals, take a look here.
Nice signings there Al, glad you got rid of Gustavo hate him. Anyway, good luck :D

Nice signings!

Very nice job in securing targets for the future but they can contribute now which is a great bonus.

2 quality keepers though, how will you develop Ter Stegen?

It'll be interesting to see how you handle that upcoming saga, because neither will like to ride the bench!

Nice update mate.

Pre Season

A busy pre-season for Bayern involved some shocks, but every single game was action packed and full of liveliness. The pre-season also involved the German Super Cup final at Stuttgart, which could give Mark van Bommel his first trophy with Bayern Munich. To find out, read on.

Friendly Matches

Dude, your signings are really good. Agree with Matt, you need Will Hughes! Can't wait to see how you get on.
