Ginola declares interest Victor Cáceres

Ginola has gone on record saying he is interested in signing the 27 year old Paraguayan player. Cáceres is a defensive midfielder but also can play at centre back if cover is needed.

Flamengo have said they wouldn't be looking to sell the the Paraguayan international for anything less than £6,000,000

We will have to wait and see if anything plays out in the January transfer window

Newcastle complete Victor Cáceres signing

Newcastle United have completed the signing of Flamengo's 27 year old defensive midfielder Victor Cáceres for a fee thought to be in region of £6,250,000.

"Victor is a great signing for us as he has great experience and is a full international for his country. I will be primary looking to use him as a centreback, but if needed he can cover in midfield also" Ginola said

Perch leaves for West Brom

West Brom have completed the signing of Newcastle's tenacious defensive midfielder James Perch for a fee of £3,700,000

Ginola explained "James was on the fringe of the first team, and had told me on a few occasions that he wanted to be playing first team football every week, unfortunately this was not possible here as we have a strong squad all battling for the 11 shirts each week. It was best for both parties that James has left for West Brom and I wish him all the best at his new club."

We have a League Cup semi final coming up against QPR, so we are definitely looking to make the final!" Ginola said

We dominated Man City today, maybe not in terms of possession but shots on goal and on target we were far the better team today, we thoroughly deserved it. Newcastle eye transfer-listed Hernandez

Newcastle are keeping their eye on Manchester United's recently transfer-listed Javier Hernandez.

Manchester United are reportedly looking for somewhere in the region of £15,000,000 for the Mexican forward. Newcastle are to face stiff opposition for the forward as a few big European sides such as Dortmund & Paris Saint-Germain are also looking at the player.

Ginola - "Javier is a great poacher, with great off the ball and anticipation. He would make a great addition to the team and certainly would help us in the goal department. I will be speaking with the board this week, it may be a few players may need to make way for us to sign Javier"

It should be an interesting few months following this story

Ginola - "Its getting really tight between those 5th, 6th & 7th spots, but i'm hoping we can rally together and secure a top 6 spot and qualify for the Europa League again. Newcastle United have the won the F.A Cup after a close fought 2-1 victory against Wolves at Wembley this afternoon.

Ginola - "What a proud moment for the fans of this great club, we had a great run to get to the final and now we've actually gone and done it! The players have been fantastic and really dug deep to get the victory! Now we will have to try and defend it next season!"

Ginola signs new contract at Newcastle

The Newcastle United manager has put pen to paper on a 4 year contract extension. The 46 year old is now set to extend his stay at the club until June 2017.

Ginola had 2 months to run on his existing contract before agreeing the new deal.

"Contract negotiations went smoothly and I a very happy to extend my stay here at Newcastle. I am looking to take this club to the next level next season and hoping for much more success in the coming years" Ginola said
