Hello fellow FM users, i am new to this site, playing FM for years i am looking forward to posting stories about my saves!!

I am 24, a diehard Chelsea fan, (bring back the special one) lol but there are many clubs in the world i like watching...i love great footballing teams like Swansea.

I am not the newspaper journalist that some of the forum posters seem to be on here, who can make their stories look effortless and so good, but i will try my best lol.

I hope people follow and enjoy my stories.

who to start with first then?
do i go with Chelsea? I dont really play with Chelsea that much as i like to use other teams, i think in FM13 ive only used them once at the beggining!!

Or a lower league team and build my way up as a manager?

any other ideas?
What team do you manage in your current save? Perhaps you could start with them again :)
Welcome to FM Scout!

Here's some advice - that hopefully doesn't offend you, if you're going to do a story, it would be good to have proper punctuation and spelling and all that, and one exclamation mark instead of three exclamation marks, all that kinda shit. Basically what your English teacher forces you to do in an English essay. It would be nicer and easier to read :)

Again, welcome to FM Scout. I'm Glenn and I've been on this site for a year now, it's brilliant and it's always great to see a new face popping up around.

I think it would be interesting if you go with a mid-table Premier League team and try to take them to Premier League glory.

If you need any kind of advice on your story, just seek me out. :)

My current save i was Barcelona as wanted to try and sign top players and win everything.
want a challenge now lol
Welcome to the site mate :) just change your team :P my recommendation would be to do a lower-league team, as that's often not done. My recommendation would be Hyde in the Blue Square Premier. Not a great team, but have a link with Man City, so happy days.

You should be ashamed if you have a link with Man City :P

Welcome to FMScout, btw. :)

I didnt mean my grammer etc with the comment about journalists lol i meant that people have good banners, bullet points, loads of screenshots etc and the little football icons when they are posting about their teams game and they have a ball icon next to the scorer...how do you do that? lol no offense was meant to anyone sorry.
You could try bring one of the former great teams such as Leeds to premier league glory, or you could try something different like managing in the lower tiers of a foreign league,

Do a save that you will enjoy and stick to it!

You can find what you want here: BB Codes

They are essential for stories and always make a story look brighter, so be sure to use them if you can ;)

Maybe a journey man story, more of a story about the manager?

I cant decide...
Welcome mate hope you enjoy being on this site! I've recently started writing stories on here and really enjoy it. You'll get a lot of help from the other users on here so it will make things easier for you.

The BB Codes is a great little page and everyone pretty much uses them. Another page that will really help you get going is this. http://www.fmscout.com/q-7589-FM-Story-Writing-Guide.html

I think it would be good to see you write a story where you start with a lower team but focusing on the manager's story in getting in to management and what his goals are and the things he has had to deal with and will deal with?

Im SOLD mate, im doing it lol thankyou!! I will be a lower league side and build my way up as a manager...im going to go BSP south probably.
should i start with reputation 'Semi Professional' OR 'Professional'

my concern is if i pick Semi pro i wont get offered any jobs for aaaaaaages, and the story could fizzle out?
I would go for professional :)
With a lower league team, the reputation has probably a less impact so if you were Semi-pro you'd still maybe be able to get a job if you start unemployed but the other option is that you start as the manager of a team but write an update that leads to the hiring of you as the manager? So something like "The Hayes & Yeading manager was caught having an affair with the chairmans wife and sacked. His replacement was RoyalBlue" and that way you dont run the risk of going ages unemployed and can pick a team in the BSP South that you want to manage.
