A great finish to the season from the reds which secured 7th spot. Steven Gerrard made the team due to Martinez gambling and choosing to give him injections to get through the game as he will have a long rest afterwards. This proved vital for the win as he scored the first two goals of the game in the first 10 minutes. Fletcher then made it 2-1 but Daniel Agger scored two goals from Gerrard corners in the next 20 minutes. Suarez rounded it off to 5-1 in the 61st minute before Rose scored the final goal to make it 5-2. Gerrard MOTM to finish a great run by Martinez and his men and to relegate Sunderland and save Everton.Premier League

Perhaps Georgi Schenikov? (CSKA) would definitely be brilliant for several years as your LB. And why don't you try to develop Danny Wilson as a CB? Would definitely be a cost saving measure

The huge unexpected budget has come as a suprise. Maybe it is something to do with the profits the club has made over the past year.
Martinez is said to want a new left back, center back and center mid for the new season. Nkoulou from OM is said to be favorite for the first signing to be a center back.

Ugh, he used to be better in FM11.
Why are you looking for a CB if you have Agger and Škrtel. Wouldn't Wilson be okay back-up? Play him against the weaker teams?

Nice updates and very solid signings! Just read through the last 2 pages and brilliant to beat Everton and to qualify for Europe! Keep it up! 
Great job getting into Europe and winning the Europa League! The signings are class, and N'Koulou and Shaw should really shore up your defense, while Shaarawy, Pogba, and Leitner should really help improve the midfield. I see Champions League qualification for next year! )
