Great start to the story mate ;)
Isn't £22.5m a bit much for Aiden Mcgeady? Ayew and Guitterez will surely be great players for Villa, are you aiming for Europa League qualification or more?
Interesting idea there mate. McGeady for £22.5m is a big fee but good work on Ayew he's awesome

£22.5m is a lot but I think he will be worth it. Ayew is going to be a massive hit i am sure of that.

The board just want me to avoid relegation but i want europe
Great Start mate. loving the idea to do it with Fergie. Hoping that Mcgeady pays back the rather steep 22.5m that you paid for him. good luck.
Great start Jason, glad to see you back in the storywriting business.

Good luck with the rest of the season and the story!

One Out and Five in As Ferguson Ends Shopping Spree

Sir alex Ferguson has got rid of Darren Bent to Everton for £14.25m. That money was used to get more players in. Lets have a look at the players bought.

Wellington Nem - £17.5m from Flumenese

Wellington Nem comes in with a big reputation as the next big thing in Brazil. Manager Sir Alex Ferguson is very confident he will be a hit and paid tribute to Nem for snubbing clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal to come where the football chances will be more for him. Nem talked of his move to Aston Villa. 'Estou muito feliz por ter assinado por um grande clube como o Aston Villa. Estou ansioso para jogar a minha parte nesta temporada e aprender Inglês muito rapidamente, então eu não preciso o uso de um tradutor. Estou ansioso para trabalhar com a lenda de que é Sir Alex Ferguson e eu não posso esperar para jogar no Villa Park um dos melhores estádios do mundo'
Translated that is 'I am very happy to have signed for a big club like aston villa. I look forward to playing my part this season and learning English very quickly so I don't need the use of a translator. I look forward to working with the legend that is Sir Alex Ferguson and I cant wait to play at Villa Park one of the best stadia in the world.'

Phil Neville - £625,000 from Everton

Phil has been bought in as a bit of experiance to help the younger players said Sir Alex. 'They need experiance here and I cant wait to work with this model Pro again.

Shaun Maloney - £3.5m from Wigan

Maloney who has played for Aston Villa before has said he can't wait to work with Sir Alex and has said that this Aston Villa team could 'go places' Maloney who was transfer listed by the latics said moving back to Villa was a no brainer and hoped the fans would welcome him back.

Carl Jenkinson - £9.5m from Arsenal

Jenkinson comes in from Arsenal as competition for the highly rated Matthew Lowton. Sir Alex has made it clear that he is not coming to be first choice he is coming to fight for his place. Jenkinson has been a solid performer since moving to Arsenal from Charlton for a undisclosed fee and Ferguson is definately hoping for good things.

Arron Cresswell - £7m (raising to £11m after international appearances and league appearances) from Ipswich

Cresswell comes in to play at Left back Sir Alex said at the press conference. He is a hard worker and a young lad who can only improve. Cresswell said to move to play in the premiership and be managed by Sir Alex.

In general I think Sir Alex has bought well. He focussed on the midfield and Defence which means that Weimann, Agbonlahor and Benteke will challenge for the striker roles this season. I think It might be a good season for the Villans too. Only time will tell.
Some great signing. Hopefully they will lead Villa to big things!
A couple of good signings there that will be useful for you especially improving squad depth

Some nice signings mate. Particularly a fan of Maloney.
I see you didn't sell Jordan Bowery, Chris Herd, Eric Lichaj or Enda Stevens like I did. I hope they do well for you Jason! :)
Super signings, Maloney should do well, especially if he does a virtual representation of his form at the end of this season!

Dissapointing Capital One Cup Defeat Destroys A Good Start

Aston Villa started the season in good fashion, however they lost on penalties to Oldham Athletic. Sir Alex was not bothered, but it was later revealed the first hair dryer treatment for Aston Villa came at the end of the game because Villa threw away a 2 goal lead to lose to them.

It has definatly been a up and down month for Aston Villa. Out of the Capital One Cup but a superb fightback in the West Hame game. Jordan Bowery picking up two man of the match awards too. He might not be on the scoresheet yet but early on he has kept Agbonlahor, Benteke and Weimann out of the team.
It's not been the best of months, but it'll do for the start of the season :)
