Elliott Bennett today was rewarded with a new 5 year contract worth an estimated £71,000 a week. Bennett a £2,300,000 signing from Norwich has become one of Ferguson's stalwarts and can play either AMR or CM. Wherever he is put he seems to excel. Bennett who played at the World Cup in Brazil under hodgeson is Jose Mourinho's first choice at Right Midfield. Bennett was ecstatic to be handed the new five year deal. 'Wow if you would have said to me 2 or 3 years ago I would be in a team that could win the Premiership and playing regularly for cluba nd country I would have said your stark raving mad. But I am and I will keep impressing no matter where I play.

Ferguson paid tribute to the Right Midfielder. 'He is what you look for in a complete footballer.' said Fergie. 'He doesn't winge or moan and gets on with his job.'

Aston Villa Lose But Smash 12 Goals In Two Games

Aston Villa had a excellent month again this month and increased there unbeaten record to 22 games. Aston Villa manager Sir Alex said he is going to chase Arsenal's unbeaten record in the Premier League which currently stands at 49 games. Although the media predict that Aston Villa will not do it, the form they are in it could well happen but Villa look a good bet for the Premier League title on this form. Finally Arsenal did defeat them but Aston Villa did then release a statement that Villa are proud of there team.


Elliott Bennett also continued his awesome form this season by bagging a hat-trick against Arsenal in the 6-0 win. Elsewhere Luke Shaw has displaced Leighton Baines in defence and Leandro Bacuna is just holding Willian and Fernando for the other centre midfield spot alongside the ever impressive Andre Ayew.

Elliott Bennett was enquired about by Chelsea at the end of the transfer window for £15,000,000 and Aston Villa dismissed the bid as out of hand and not for sale.

Villa Announce Man Utd Star As January Signing

Sir Alex Ferguson today announced that Wayne Rooney will be joining Aston Villa on a 4 year £195,000 a week contract after demanding a move from Manchester United. When Jose Mourinho was in charge Wayne Rooney was Man Utd's number 1 choice. Since David Moyes took over however Rooney is behind Danny Welbeck and Robin Van Persie so decided he wanted a new challenge. Aston Villa Manager Sir Alex saw a chance and offered just £3,300,000 and it was accepted. Wayne couldnt wait to leave Manchester United stating he hated Moyes at Everton and hates him now!

Rooney who will be coming on the cheap has been capped by England 91 times and with Jose at the English helm should make 100 caps.

Aston Villa could now change formation to facilitate 2 of Agbonlahor, Hulk and Rooney but many people are saying going back to Sir Alex will make Rooney the player he once was.

Sir Alex Starts The Trash Talking: Who Would Have Thought That!

In the build up to the Premier League match between Aston Villa and Manchester City, Sir Alex fired the first shot at manager Roberto Mancini by claiming that City had only won the title 3 times running because Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal were rebuilding. He then went on to say that his Villa team ARE destined for the title despite a few loses but has said that the Premier League this season is wide open and any of the top 10 can beat each other.

When asked does Sir Alex rate Mancini's management style his responce was plain as day. "would he have got the Man Utd job ahead of Moyes and Mourinho if he was good? Yes" he didnt though which shows his man management style is ridiculously bad and I can't wait to thrash them next week.


Fergie also said that Hulk could play along side Wayne Rooney when he completes his transfer to Villa on January 1st. Wayne and Hulk are going to be huge said a gleaming Sir Alex. There will be up to 3 signings in January we have identified where needs strengthening and we will stregthen only if the right player becomes available.

Fergie then could not resist a parting shot at Mancini by stating. When Villa beat Man City to the title Mancini will be fired and the Premier League will be a happier place.
