Guardiola Leaves Barcelona

German club Bayern Munich have announced that former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola will take over as their manager at the end of the season.
The 41-year-old - who had been linked with Chelsea and Manchester City - has signed a three-year contract to 2016.
Guardiola will replace current boss Jupp Heynckes, who will retire.

The Spaniard has been on a season-long sabbatical since leaving the Nou Camp in May 2012 after winning 14 trophies - including two Champions League titles.
"We are very pleased that we have managed to convince the football expert Pep Guardiola, who was coveted and contacted by many top clubs, to come to Bayern Munich," Bayern chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said.
"He is one of the most successful coaches in the world and we are sure that he can make not just Bayern, but all of German football shine."

Guardiola has confirmed that Tito Villanova will be joining him at the club.

This has led Barcelona to begin a search for their new manager.

The Shortlist

Manuel Pellegrini

Wanted by Manchester City, Barcelona could get one over on their rivals and hire the talented Chilean. Currently at Malaga, he is said to be happy to stay at the club, but an offer from arguably worlds biggest club may be too good to turn down.

Laurent Blanc

Blanc has gone on to progress in what looks like becoming a good career in managament. Still only 47, the Frenchman has led Bordeaux to the Ligue 1 title and had a good spell in charge of the French national team. And unlike some other candidates, he is current available.

Diego Simeone

The Argentinian has worked wonders with Atletico Madrid in his short time in charge, leading them to Europa League glory and turning them into genuine title challengers against the big two in Spain, playing an attractive brand of attacking football while he’s at it. One of the best young managers in the game at 43, he could lead Barca for many years to come. He may also be able to tempt star striker Falcao to join him at Camp Nou, which would definitely sweeten the deal.

Carlo Ancelotti

The Italian tactician boasts a CV enviable to many in the game. With AC Milan he has won the Serie A title and the Champions League twice, and he was an instant hit in the Premier League, winning the double with Chelsea in his first season in charge before being very harshly sacked by Roman Abramovich. Now at PSG, he is being lined up for the Real Madrid job, but Barca would be wise to try and get there first.

I will be keeping teh bulk of the squad but I will be letting some players go as they have no future at the squad such as David Villa and Adriano, some of the younger players will go out on loan and I hope to bring in some new young athletic faces and a 30 goal a season striker that has La Liga experience.

Vaig a donar el braçalet a Xavi i tenen el vice capità com Messi, qui és el millor jugador des Pelé.

I will give the armband to Xavi and have the vice captain as Messi , who is the best player since Pele.

El consell m'han donat 40 milions de lliures per guanyar totes les competicions d'aquest any i que comença amb la Supercopa en tres setmanes.

Pardo was called up for the Spain national team at different levels. He was selected for the 2009 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship but appeared only in one match. Being a part of Under-19 team he helped them to win the 2011 Under-19 European Championship, appearing in every match of the tournam/ent.

Ganso , Fee : 7.25 Million and Cuenca Club: Sao Paulo

A Brazilian footballer Paulo Henrique Chagas de Lima, also known as Ganso (Goose).
Paulo started his career in 1996 at the academy of Tuna Luso, where he was groomed during 8 years. In 2005, the young player was drafted into the youth department of Paysandu and later on to the department of Santos, where the last three years of his junior career passed. In 2007, he performed for the youth team in the Copa São Paulo and netted 2 goals.
In January 2008, Ganso graduated to the club’s main squad and a five-year contract was penned. Henrique was handed the number 10 shirt and took the place in the starting XI. His debut happened in February but since then he made only 7 appearances during his first season with the senior team. The beginning of the 2009/2010 season turned to be unfortunate as well, as the footballer was kept from the field during many matches. But the situation would change for the midfielder after the club won the 2010 Campeonato Paulista. In total, Ganso made 63 appearances and netted 11 goals for the team.
In September 2012, a deal was finalized with São Paulo. The midfielder continues to play for the Brazilian side.
Paulo’s international career started in 2009, when he earned his first cap for the Brazil U-20 team. Now he’s the member of the Brazil national squad.

James Rodriguez , Fee Bojan and 5.5 Mill Club: FC Porto

Rodríguez is a product of Envigado’s youth system. In 1995 Rodríguez joined the academy of this club where he spent 9 years. During this time he played for different youth teams of this age taking part in junior championships.
In 2006 Rodríguez was 100 percent ready to start his career in professional football that’s why Envigado management signed an agreement with the midfielder under which he began playing for the club since the 2006/2007 season. He proved himself to be a reliable team member which allowed him to come on the pitch virtually in all the matches for Envigado. From 2006 to 2008 Rodríguez featured in 55 games scoring 20 goals for his first professional club.
In 2008 Rodríguez attracted the attention of Banfield which was impressed by his performance. In the same year Rodríguez penned a contract with the Argentine side a two-year contract. Adryan Fee: 5.25 Mill Club: Flamengo

Adryan has been tipped for the top for some time now and was the star of Brazil's Under-17 side at the 2011 World Cup in Mexico. That same summer, he reportedly rejected a move to Manchester United. (Goal.com)

A diminutive attacking midfielder, Adryan operates at the point of the midfield, looking to open up defences for his team's attacking players.

Also an excellent free-kick taker, the Flamengo player has a taste for goals and is often found making late runs into the area to finish off attacking moves that he may very well have instigated.

Adryan's confidence and reputation have taken a recent hit, having been promoted into a struggling Flamengo first-team in 2012 and then failing to perform at this year's South American Under-20 Championship.

Jose Angel Fee: Player Exchange David Villa Club: Roma

The future Spanish footballer’s youth career began in 1994 when he first joined the youth team Roces, in which he grew up for the first two years. In 1996 Jose moved to the academy La Brana but stayed there for a very short time leaving it in 1997. That year Angel enrolled to the academy of Sporting Gijon club that currently plays in Spanish La Liga. For 11 years Jose has been training and accumulating experience, getting ready for the professional debut that fell on the year 2008.
In 2008 Jose Angel went to the second team of Sporting, making 22 appearances in the season 2008/09. In 2009 the coaches considered Jose ready for his debut in professional football. Till 2011 Jose Valdes was one of the key players in the first team, rarely missing a match. For two years with his native club Angel managed to net one goal in 52 matches.
In 2011 an Italian club Roma made the Spanish defender an offer to play as a left back. He eagerly agreed on that as Roma was the club to help him make his football dreams come true. Jose immediately gained the role of a left back in the first team.
In the 2012/13 season, José Ángel was sent on loan to Real Sociedad.
In 2009 Jose was called up to the Spanish Under-20 team for the first time. The same year Valdes made his debut with the Spanish Under-21 team, where played 4 games in two years.

In 2003, Adriano was included in the Brail national U-23 team roster. And since 2003 he has appeared in 13 matches for the Brazil national team.

Fontas, Club: Athletico Fee: 5.25 Mill

On August 31, 2009 Fontàs played for FC Barcelona on the 1st La Liga match day versus Sporting de Gijón where he substituted Gerard Piqué on the 84th minute.
