Tottenham Hotspur

Hello guys, many of you may not know this but I lost my Thierry Henry save, here is the final update http://www.fmscout.com/q-8118-The-King-Returns-Home-Goodbye-and-Hello.html
I've decided to start a new story and save with their most fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspurs. I hope I'll be able to write this story as well as I did with my Thierry Henry one, if not better!

Who am I?

In this story I will be Tottenham and England legend Teddy Sherringham. I like the idea of a legend taking over. Sheringham played for Tottenham for 7 years making a total of 236 appearances and scoring 98 goals.

Good luck :)

Sheringham takes over

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the appointment of Teddy Sheringham as the new manager following the dismissal of Andre Villas Boas. Chairman Daniel Levy confirmed in a press conference that Sheringham had signed a contract with the club and said "Teddy is a brilliant individual and we hope he can lead the club to glory".

Andre-Villas Boas was sacked following disagreements with Daniel Levy over the transfer of Emmanuel Adebayor. AVB publicly stated that he was not happy with the chairman, for bringing Adebayor to the club on a permanent basis without informing him, this led to a spat between the two and eventually AVB being sacked.

Sheringham played for Tottenham for 7 years making a total of 236 appearances and scoring 98 goals. Tottenham fans will be hoping Sherringham can help them do something they haven't done in 18 years, that is finish above Arsenal FC and possibly qualify for the champions league. Tottenham are fairly wise to recruit a legend, somebody already known and loved by the fans.

Will this be the season? Will this be the season the curse is destroyed and Tottenham finish above Arsenal?
Nice start mate interesting after your Arsenal story but good luck!

Spurs were wrong to sack me

Former Tottenham manager, Andres Villas-Boas, has spoken out about his spat with Daniel Levy which led to him being sacked just a few weeks after being hired. This is the second time AVB has been sacked in just months following his dismissal from Chelsea FC. AVB wasn't shy to express his anger over being dismissed as he revealed what happened between Levy and himself

"Many people have been wondering why Tottenham sacked me so soon, they fail to tell anyone the truth. I wanted to sign players for the club, Tottenham told me we already signed Adebayor, I told the chairman Adebayor is not what I want that I want a better and younger striker, the board refused to listen saying Adebayor will do. I told them Defoe is ageing and Adebayor is not enough and Levy warned me to drop it. I didn't want to and so I was sacked. Tottenham is a great board but the board is ruining them."

Tottenham have been linked with Javier Hernandez and Wilfred Bony recently as they seem to be ready to get some cash from Jemaine Defoe. Reports say Spurs had an offer for Kaka accepted but they could not afford his massive wages. Teddy Sheringham seems ready to get rid of many fringe players as he looks to add some depth to the squad before the season starts. Players such as David Bentley, Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore could all find themselves leaving White Hart Lane, whether on a permanent basis or just on loan we don't really know.
Good luck with this Seni, will be interesting :) a couple of nice updates already!

Tottenham announce brand new kits

Tottenham Hotspur have released their new kits for the upcoming season on the club's official website. The kit is simple but classy. The big change is that Tottenham have changed sponsors. Investec are no longer Tottenham's shirt sponsor as FMSCOUT, a rising multinational company have taken over. Spurs have moved to Nike as they try and secure a place in the champions league this season.

Chairman Daniel Levy released a statement on the website minutes before the release of the kits on the website, "This years kits are simple but classy. We're proud to announce FMSCOUT as our new sponsors, and Nike as our new manufactures".

Tottenham will be hoping the new kits, sponsor and manufacture will boost their sales, meaning more money for the club.

Here are Tottenham's 2012/2013 season kits:

Great kits and nice tribute to fm scout :) look really cool!

Tottenham sign Chicharito

Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the singing of Javier Hernandez from ,Manchester United, for an undisclosed fee . The Mexican was bought following the departure of Jermaine Defoe to United for 12 million. Hernandez signed a 5 year contract with the club and will be earning something around 82,000 per week. Before now, Hernandez moving to Spurs was just speculation and some thought was just a silly rumor, but now its reality.

Hernandez will hopefully solve Tottenham's striking problems and will definitely be the main man at Spurs. We know Tottenham are looking to get rid of Emmanuel Adebayor and buy a younger, yet proven striker. The North London side won't miss Defoe too much as everything he possess, Hernandez has too, and possibly to a better extent. Chicharito will be hoping to help Tottenham qualify for the champions league, even if it means they don't finish above Arsenal. In a press conference the Mexican spoke about joining Tottenham, he said "I'm happy that I'm now a Tottenham player, United is a great team but I wasn't happy there. This is a big club and I want to help them with all their hopes and goals."

The signing of Hernandez, shows Tottenham's renewed ambition. This is a reasonably smart signing as Hernandez is a young player, only 24 years old and has a bright future. The Mexican is blessed with good pace and clinical finishing. He's a threat in the air and has proved over and over again he's a goalscorer for United. Unfortunately for Hernandez the competition at United was massive. He was competing with the likes of Rooney, Van Persie and Danny Welbeck. He just had to leave.

Chicharito will wear his favored number 14 shirt at White Hart Lane. Tottenham are currently on tour in America, so Chicharito will have to wait a few days before meeting up with his new teammates. Just before he signed, a few Chigwell locals had reported seeing him driving around looking at houses. One fan managed to get a photograph of Hernandez in his car.

Tottenham will be looking to bring in a few more players, as they aim to add some depth alongside with quality to their squad. Reports say Tottenham are looking to sign a midfielder and defender.

BAINES! :D
