Shipping a lot of goals maybe changing your tactics against the bigger teams might help? A tough month but I'm sure you can bounce back!
Nice writting so far. Keep it up m8

After finishing 7th, after the board really only wanted us to finish top-half of the table, this season has been successful with getting a foothold into the EPL, especially after AUD$5.5mil Belgian gem came away with the Barclays Golden Boot:

And with the signings of Wellington Nem, and the already confirmed incoming signings of David Ospina and Marcelo Estigarribia, it looks like we could really kick on in upcoming 2013/2014 season. Also, if I have read correctly, due to out 7th place position, we have qualified for the UEFA Europa League Third Qualifying Round, a competition I really believe we can do some damage in.

Obviously, its not the best, but once the club can grow and become challengers in the EPL, then I believe our Youth Facilities and Setup will be ready to advance to the next level.

Youth Intake
With our youth intake being the major role in this story, our yearly youth intake is big news.http://puu.sh/3liUX.jpg

Nah, I believe Swansea were in the EPL the season before, but this season ive posted is the first season on the game.
Where did all the money come from? Also, why spend so much on players when you want a good academy.. Maybe keeping money in the club, making them rich and spending it on facilities/youth coaches would be better..

Yeah, but its going to be hard attracting quality youth if consistently hanging around the relegation zone. I want to be challenging for EPL and Europe success as early as possible.

The time has come to strengthen areas of the squad and lose some of the dead-weight from the team. Seeing that I was given a very restricted transfer budget for the upcoming season, I was very happy with the transfers for the season.
Most of these were already confirmed during last season, mainly Ospina and Sanogo. Ospina was a no-brainer, able to bring in a very high quality keeper in on a free for a decent wage, and considering our GK'ing problems, it was a match made in heaven. After having de Guzman in on loan last season, I was very impressed, and was happy when it came to my attention there was a clause in his loan that made me able to sign him for a previously agreed fee of AUD$7.5mil. Very happy as well to strengthen our midfield with the signing of Ramires in on loan from Chelsea. Most of the other signings were mainly backup to the first team, used as cover.

After a good pre-season with results to match, hopefully we can climb further up the ladder this time round.

What a pre-season here mate! And a good first year...
Ramires is a great signing! I am pretty sure Swansea is going to play in Europe next year!

As you can see through the results, the season really was a mixed bag. After a pretty decent first quarter of the season, things went down hill from our 4-2 loss against Man United, with us only getting two wins within the next 18 games. A major disappointment was our inability to beat Hartlepool, who knocked us out of the FA Cup. We finished the season strongly with wins against Chelsea, Man United and a strong showing against Liverpool. Our player of the season was Guillermo Burdisso.
The youth intake was basically of the same caliber as last season's. Hopefully in the near future we can take the extra step to producing some fine talent with the upgrading of our Youth and Training facilities -
