My life, my choice.
Noel Gallagher is profoundly known as the elder brother to
Liam Gallagher the lead singer of one of the worlds best band's,
Oasis. In the early days
Noel wasn't originally in the band, which started off with a different name, and was given the opportunity to become the sole songwriter and took it whilst the offer still lasted. After a short period of being just the songwriter only, his music playing talent was founded and he officially joined the band which then renamed its self as Oasis.
Noel Gallagher has openly supported the blue side of Manchester, his home team Manchester City since his first encounter with football, with his brother
Liam Gallagher. They both have had many season tickets through the years and have been through different leagues with the team. In 2007,
Noel said that maybe even once in his life that he would like, infact love to venture into football management and be the boss for once instead of being the second in command.
The sole reason
Noel applied for the vacant job at Boston was because it was a challenge, something that could help bring people together, something that could become, and achieve and something he could put his mind to. He said "I have loved football all my life, and i have always wondered what it would be like through the eyes of another viewer in another position to what i am, for example a staff member of one of the teams. To me football is an art, just like music, and they are two things i love, along with my darling wife, Sara MacDonald, my kids, family, along with
Liam and my best friend, Russel Brand. All these people have influenced my decision to start football management, and i will, but in the mean time i will carry on with my band, Noel Gallagher's high flying birds, but for all the fans out there, i can assure you, i will try my dammed hardest, this isn't the end of the Gallagher brothers, Boston, here i come".
