So Freedman has been sacked at Bolton and Holloway wants the job. Crystal Palace are also without a manager. Freedman's return perhaps? Still no jobs available that I can apply for but hopefully I won't have too much longer to wait as it's now late October.

Chelmsford City look like a very decent side to start off with and I will definitely be applying to take over as manager. They have a good squad with players like Anthony Cook, Jamie Slabber, Aiden Palmer, Mark Haines, Justin Miller and a few more. Hopefully I get the job. Fingers crossed...!

That's funny, I have played with Chelmsford before and Slabber was the star man! First season he was the Blue Square South's top goalscorer haha :)

He's never performed for me! Be it with Chelmsford on FM, or with Swindon in real life!

That's strange. I guess every save is different but for me he was definitely our best player.

Still not heard back from Chelmsford yet but I should have an answer very soon. In the meantime there has been some interesting managerial appointments. Steve Round at Crystal Palace surprised me as I honestly thought they would go back in for Dougie Freedman. McInnes at Derby is a strange one too as he really struggled with Bristol City in real life and Derby are bottom of the Championship here. McInnes needs to hit the ground running if the Rams are to survive the drop.

So my managerial career begins at Chelmsford City in the Blue Square South. I'm very happy to get this job and I think this is the perfect club for me to begin with. Unfortunately we are 20th in the Blue Square South as I take over and it might take a while before I can make a difference. Money is incredibly tight and I may have to rely on loans or sell someone before I bring anybody in. It's certainly going to be a challenge but it's one I'm looking forward too :D
