not sure I understand what you are trying to say???
Hi guys,
sorry for no update in the past week, was away without laptop, so did not play. But now we continue where we left off... Preseason 2015/2016

Board expectation for the season 2015/2016

Upon being asked to formulate my expectation for the new season and our first season in the Premier League, I will be a little on the optimistic side and say we can achieve a mid-table finish. I think my team is good enough for that, instead of being on the wrong side of the table trying to avoid relegation.
I want to see the team along with the new signings perform in competitive matches in the league before revising my expectation at the end of the year. How the new signings adapt will be key to any success we have this season, but I have high hope that with the new signings and existing squad, we can aim much higher this season.

Kristian Adorjan and Robbie Townsend have accepted my contract offer to be Crewe players.
As for Pogba, he is still considering my offer as he has received other offers from Italian teams mainly as well.

Preseason friendlies as follows:
Quorn – Crewe
Crewe – Lyon
Crewe – Man Utd Reserves
Crewe – Rangers
Portsmouth – Crewe
Crewe – Everton
Crewe – Blackburn
whats your transfer budget for the season?
I got a good transfer budget..around $25 million pounds, but I am being conservative right now and want to see how the team performs during the first half of this season before splashing the cash! Anyway, Crewe still is an unattractive option for established stars, so I prefer to wait...
Friendly results:
Quorn – Crewe: 0 – 11
Goals: Lebourg, Gro(2), Gernsoe(2), Daryl Long(2), Townsend(2), Mollers(2), Bryan Vince.
Daryl Long is a promising midfielder in my under-18 squad.

Crewe – Lyon: 3 – 0
We played very well against a Lyon team with European pedigree with Hugo Lloris, Dimitri Payet, Yoann Gourcuff, Moussa Sow. To me, this match was a great test as to how well this team can do in its first season in the Premier League and they were up to the task to show me they are capable. Gro was the star man for me in the first half, with a goal, one shot on the crossbar and forcing Lloris to make a great save. Svensson with a goal and an assist was MoM overall. Powell got the 3rd goal late on.

Crewe – Man Utd Reserves: 4 – 1
Goals : Gro(2), Gernsoe, Gommers

Crewe – Rangers: 4 – 0
Goals: Townsend(3), Gro

Portsmouth – Crewe: 0 – 5
Goals : Lebourg, Catalano, Gro(2), Mensah

Crewe – Everton: 2 – 2
Goals: Devlin, Tirloni / Adam Johnson, Dimitar Berbatov

Crewe – Blackburn: 0 – 0
Tried playing 4-2-3-1 to accommodate my attacking midfielders and some new and young players and see how it goes, and the result is a goalless draw.

Pogba finally accepted my offer to become a Crewe player.

Having qualified for the EURO Cup, we had to play the 3rd round qualifying in preseason as well.

EURO Cup 3rd Round 1st leg
Valerenga – Crewe: 1 – 1

Crewe – Valerenga: 3 – 2
Great win. Went behind twice and came back to win the game. Goals from Gro, Devlin and Conti put us through to the next round.

I have as well bid for a right back, Mark O’Brien from Watford, for him to be my new first choice as I think Piermayr, at the age of 25, won’t be progressing much further and Redsted, still needs further training to enhance his attributes and can still do so being only 22.

I will be posting the player stats on my first team squad so you can judge for yourself whether my optimism is justified.
Great to see the Alex dream alive in the game..

Here's the first team squad for season 2015/2016, with a couple of under-18 players included, the promising ones.

Mark O’Brien to Crewe for the fee of 5 million pounds - Mark O'Brien, current Ireland international defender, equally comfortable at centre back and at right back, with 9 caps under his belt, has agreed terms with Crewe on a 4 year contract.

Here's the stats of my first team squad's players as promised.

This is my keeper from the youth team to whom I gave the chance in the first team. He's not top class, but has done the job up to now.

My defensive rock

Barrie Foster, like Siadankay and Devlin, is another product of the youth academy with a promising career

My wonderkid bought on a free after released two years back by Aalborg

My midfield general

My dynamic, flamboyant midfielder

My captain, though I don't think he'll be able to keep up with the new kids in the near future

Among others, main players released from first team include Ashley Westwood and Liam Gormley
We have drawn AS Monaco in 4th round EURO Cup.
This will be a great test for my team :)

The league campaign is at last underway. We are finally going to test our mettle against England’s finest in route to hopefully join the elite of the country. First match against Bolton away, team that we beat last year in the FA Cup.

Premier Division
Bolton – Crewe: 1 – 2
I opted to start with a 4-2-3-1 formation but we could not find the net before Bolton though overall we had more shots on goal. Bolton took the lead in the 70th minute and I knew I had to change things if we were to get something from this game. On the 79th minute, I chose to revert to 4-4-2 and introduced new striker Robbie Townsend in place of Adorjan, who did not play well, to support Gro. This had an immediate effect and we were level on the 84th minute through Catalano from Tirloni’s corner. On the 93rd minute, Townsend chased a O’Brien clearance and crossed to Gro to bury high into the net. Superb comeback win!
How did u get crewe 2 the prem??????? absolutely amazing!!!!!!1111

Thanks! :) I think it was a mixture of getting some good free players, extensive player search based on attributes most important to me that will benefit the team, giving the chance to academy players, and tactical flexibility.
But now that we are in the Premiership, I find myself in a position where, to progress further, I may need to get rid of players who were crucial in the last 3-4 years in getting me up there and it's a very difficult decision to make. It does get emotional....
EURO Cup
AS Monaco – Crewe: 1 – 1
We’ve been the better since the start but in first half added time, after a slick passing move, Monaco scored with their first shot on our goal, though it took a deflection to beat Siadankay. Unlucky! We equalized at the beginning of the second half when Gernsoe tackled and won the ball and charged forward in a Gerrardesque manner towards goal and drove a low hard shot to beat the keeper.

EURO Cup
Crewe – AS Monaco: 2 – 1
Gommers and Gro struck to give us the win.

Premier Division
Aston Villa – Crewe: 2 – 3
An own goal, Svensson and Townsend gave us the win though we were lucky and could have drawn instead of won. Aston Villa took the lead, but we equalized through an own goal and then took a two goal lead before Aston Villa reduced the margin and we held on for the win.

I am awarded the August Manager of the month award for the 2 away wins

We have been drawn in Group I in the Euro Cup along with Rubin, Olympiakos, Mlada Boleslav
September 2015

Premier Division
Crewe – Fulham: 1 – 1
I think the referee cost us the match today. We had 2 goals refused for offside and replays show that both were very tight and could have gone either way. Even Fulham’s goal by Cleverley was very tight and could have been refused for offside as well. What showed the referee’s bias as well is that my team received 6 yellow cards to Fulham’s zero! Gro scored for us at the end of a very good team move.

There was not even a post-match conference!

EURO Cup Group I
Rubin – Crewe: 1 – 2
Superb win considering we were down to 10 men following Lebourg dismissal on 36th minute after Rubin had equalized. We went ahead early on the 5th minute through Gernsoe, assisted by Gommers. Devlin scored from a corner in the second half and I changed tactics to a counter attacking one from that point to try and preserve the lead. Though we were 1 man short for most of the match, we were not dominated in the possession department as it was 50-50 at the end.

League Cup 3rd round
Crewe – Exeter: 2 – 0
Mensah and Adorjan with their first goals of the season gave us the win.

Premier Division
Crewe – Ipswich: 0 – 0
Unlucky draw, but also many missed chances and too many shots off target!
I have also added to my squad, a right midfielder/attacking midfielder who is comfortable in the centre as well, Kasper Kaas. He could not agree terms with his Danish club, Esbjerg, and I swooped to capture this promising lad on a free.

October 2015
EURO Cup Group I
Crewe – Olympiakos: 2 – 1
Two goals from Bernard Mensah gave us the win. Olympiakos scored a consolation goal in the 92th minute.

Premier Division
Southampton – Crewe: 1 – 2
Would not say it was a lucky win as we edged Southampton stats-wise, but on the second goal, Gernsoe, who made the assist, seemed offside when the ball was played to him!

Premier Division
Crewe – Wolves: 2 – 2
We went ahead via a poacher’s effort from Townsend, but Wolves scored 2 and we got a dramatic late equalizer through Catalano.

EURO Cup Group I
Crewe – Mlada Boleslav: 5 – 0
A one-way contest with the result to match with centre back Catalano scoring a hat trick!
Goals: Catalano (3), Gro, Gommers

League Cup 4th round
Crewe – Derby: 5 – 1
Goals: Gro, Townsend(2), Tirloni, Devlin / Emnes

Premier Division
Tottenham – Crewe: 2 – 0
No surprise here with a double from Cavani condemning us to our first defeat in the Premier League. We did compete but Tottenham were superior on the day.
November 2015

EURO Cup Group I
Mlada Boleslav – Crewe: 0 – 0
Gave some fringe players some playing time and though we were the better team, we could find the breakthrough.

Premier Division
Crewe – Liverpool: 2 – 2
We went behind to a Devlin own goal on the 16th minute, but we were leveled 3 minutes later courtesy of an Agger own goal. Henderson gave Liverpool the lead again on the 22nd minute, but on the 41st minute, MoM Devlin scored to equalize for us. We had more shots on goal and restricted Liverpool but the game did not produce any other goals.

Premier Division
Birmingham – Crewe: 2 – 0
A double by John Fleck condemned us to defeat. Birmingham had only 2 shots on target and they converted both.

Premier Division
Wigan – Crewe: 1 – 1
A good draw considering we played with 10 men for 3 quarters of the match following Devlin’s dismissal and then with 9 men with 10 minutes to go and even then, we could have snatched the win with better finishing.

African Nations Quals Grp D
We have been drawn with Sudan, Madagascar and Equatorial Guinea
Equatorial Guinea – Nigeria: 0 – 3

Premier Division
Crewe – Chelsea: 3 – 2
2 nil down at half time from a Doumbia double, I told the team off at half time and it showed in the second half. Gro got one back in the 51st minute and Catalano equalized in the 67th minute. We got a penalty in added time that Gernsoe converted to give us an unexpected win.

League Cup Quarter Final
Crewe – Huddersfield: 1 – 0
