Injury News - Marc-André Ter Stegen injured in training and will be out for 7 weeks. So youngsters Sam Johnstone and Sebastian Witt are competing for the back up GK role.

A good 0-1 away win with Jones scoring from a header courtesy of a Bale free kick. However Götze got injured in the final minutes.

Injury News – Götze out with a twisted ankle and will missing for 3 weeks.

Champions League Draw – Was drawn in-group G with CSKA Moscow, Málaga CF and Standard de Liège.

European Super Cup – FC Bayern – 22.08.15

Due to the fiery Champions League Final against Liverpool I have several players suspended and they are Pogba, Hernández, Hazard, Vidic, Rooney and Fábio. Plus I have Fierro, Götze and Ter Stegen injured so I will have a lot of young players involved in a very big game.

I have a very young and inexperienced bench with only about 20 first team appearances between them and Chamberlain has more than half of them.

The game started well with Kovacic controlling everything and just before half time Nani put United ahead. In the second half things were going well so decided to make a couple of changes to freshen the game up and brought on Rafael for Welbeck and Flaherty for Cleverley and minutes later Rafael beat two men and scored a powerful effort into the bottom corner to give United a 2-0 lead. After I took a 2-0 lead decided to take off Man Of The Match Kovacic who made 48 successful passes out of 54 attempted and replaced him with Chorão Bayern pulled one back through Sandro and then in stoppage time Evans and Smalling cleared off the line and my young team healed on for the victory.

Injury News – Pogba injured on international duty and will be out for a month.

Transfer Update – The transfer window has now closed and they major move was Serge Aurier to Chelsea from Lens for £21.5 million. The second big money move was Balázs Dzsudzsák to City from Anzhi Makhachkala for £17 million. Not much else happened.

Lost 0-3. They just cannot defend set pieces and Cristiano Ronaldo was wasteful. I have decided that I will resign after the next game, as it is just not working. Every time I pick a young player the Portuguese press have a go but there is a real lack of good young players in Portugal.

Injury News – Nani injured on international duty and will be out for 3 months.

Lost 5-0 and I was sacked before I could resign. Not much else to talk about really. Again set pieces were the problem and towards the end I got the impression that some of my players just gave up.
