#54760 shaneo insaneo : i suggest javi martinez and Mikel San Jose. both spanish players but both of the highest quality
I had Javi Martinez on another save, He was my main anchorman/DM. As I need a new DM, would you choose Yann M'vila (something like that) or Martinez?
i wouldnt choose mvilla at all . my defending mids have to be very good passers and good technique. so id go martinez

Cheers, I'll have a look at him in the January Transfer window, see if I can free up some funds.

Liverpool destroy United

Not a good game, we got destroyed by them, we wasted all our chances, and pretty much gave the ball to their strikers to put in the back of the net.

Premier League
Manchester United 0-4 Liverpool
Leiva 14'
Vidic 19'
Evra 33'
Kelly 43'
Dempsey 89'

United keep Chelsea at a draw with 9 men.

Title speaks for itself, I think we could of won it if we had all 11 men still on the pitch, but no, Rafael and Vidic both sent off, I wasn't to impressed with them both, and I made them know that, I gave Rafael an Official warning, and fined Vidic a weeks wages for his 2nd Red.

Premier League
Chelsea 2-2 Manchester United
Welbeck 1'
Torres 3'
Young 9'

Injury News
Ferdinand out for 3-4 weeks with strained knee ligaments.
Gorrono out for 1-3 weeks with strained knee ligaments.

Crossbar denies Wolfsburg a win

With 10 men we were doing ok, but then Olic scored in the last minute, then 4 minutes into extra time, they were awarded, what in my a opinion wasn't a penalty, but Olic smacked it against the woodwork for Rafael to clear. Unlucky for the Red Devils.

Champions League Group D:
Wolfsburg 1-1 Manchester United
Anderson
Smalling 72'
Olic 89'
Olic 90+4

West Brom close to upset

Lucky to draw here, as WBA missed a perfect opportunity, but denied by some real athleticism and determination by De Gea.

Manchester United 1-1 West Brom

Rooney's hattrick sinks Sunderland

Brilliant team performance to come back from a series of draws and losses. Wonderful Hattrick by Rooney. Next opponent in the cup; Ipswich. Should be an easy game.

United overcome Southampton

Expected a win over the newly promoted side Southampton. They currently lie 10th in the table, not bad for a side like them. Another good win for United.

Rooney slots his first goal of the Champions League past the Lille Keeper, and it turned out to be an important one. Good win for the team.

United rise to see of the Swans

Not terrific from the lads to only of scored one. Swansea had many CCC's (clear cut chances) But De Gea either parried or held them all. Should of scored more earlier in the game.

Premier League
Swansea 0-1 Manchester United
Hernandez 84'
De Gea

Fiorentina hold United to a draw

We clearly should of taken advantage after the sending off just before Half Time. During the break I switched to a more attacking team and formation, but none of it paid off.

Champions League Group D:
Fiorentina 0-0 Manchester United
Gamberini 44'
Siqueira

City dominant at the Etihad Stadium

Unlucky really, first goal a Penalty, Agureo only scored because of a scramble in the box after a corner, and Dede scored a header from a corner. After this I have changed the main focus in the tactics section to defending set pieces, as I concede quite a few goals from them.

Premier League
Manchester City 3-0 Manchester United
Tevez Pen 12'
Aguero 19'
Dede 58'

United in dominant win

Another easy team to beat really, expected a big win against them, and I got one. Unlucky for O'Connor with the Own Goal.

Manchester United 6-0 Ispwich
Kagawa 6'
Clevery 26'

Transfer Update
Manchester United have snapped up 28 year old winger David Bentley on a free transfer. (Lacking players for the reserve team he's only on a one year deal)
I have started to use a different tactic: 4-1-2-1-2 with a defensive mid and a attacking mid. Tempo on slow, and passing on short. As you can probably tell this ease more of a tactic for possession, which is exactly what its meant to be. I went through all the November games first then updated this, and I had the most possession in every single match. I was happy that it had worked.

Best Youth Products
My favorite time of the season! March, were all the young raw talented youths come up and show me what they've got. The game with the Youth Grads and the U18 team ended 4-1 to the U18's. Once I have had a good look into the youth I will post pictures of the best that have come up.
#57106 funny : some crappy results here.. has to be said... 0-5 city? 0-4 L'pool? the fans should eat you after that? hope you can make some ammends :)
Haha! I know, my confidence with the board and fans is still pretty good actually! I've got a feeling we will turn it around this season. We will have to see...
