Thanks a lot I really appreciate the comment's. I'm looking to stick with this team for a fair while, hopefully all the way to the top, so it should in theory be epic !!! Hopefully the board will back me in January as well but I wont hold my breath !!!

I hope I get the transfer budget to !!! Hopefully a good league position by January should secure that but football is a weird and wonderful game so I won't get to excited !

After a string of fantastic performances, Samba Diakite did enough to persuade Fabio Cannavaro to make his loan move to QPR permanent.

Having a £1.3 Million bid accepted Diakite put pen to paper on a 3 year deal worth £12000 p/w. Samba Stated "This club is going places and I want to be a part of that. I'm honoured that my hard work and enthusiasm has been noticed by the manager and I want to hold down a first team place. There is a lot of competition for positions in the starting eleven but that help's to drive everyone on, both in training and on the pitch".

Premier League newcomer's Swansea City were off to a good start early in the season and QPR fan's were confident during their coach trip to the Liberty Stadium that their team could bring an end to The Swans unbeaten run.

Swansea City 2-0 Queen's Park Ranger's

Goals on either side of half time from Nathan Dyer and Scott Sinclair respectively brought QPR's first defeat since the opening day of the season. Fabio Cannavaro told reporter's "I am proud of my player's and the team's solid start to the season". "This defeat is a reminder that this league is the best in the world and anybody can beat anyone else". My squad will bounce back from this stronger than ever".

15.10.2011 KO 15:00

Midway through October, QPR had to entertain Newcastle United at Loftus Road and the "Hoops" were looking to bounce back from defeat in their last game. Luke young was missing from the squad, courtesy of a clumsy challenege from Bobby Zamora in training so the opportunity opened for young loan star John Flannigan to demonstrate his defensive abilities.

Queen's Park Ranger's 2-2 Newcastle United

Early goals from DJ Campbell and Adel Taarabt were cancelled out after the hour mark by a stunning strike from Maxi Rodriguez (signed from Liverpool) and a brilliant finish from Jonaz Gutierrez. After a brilliant start to the game, QPR began to feel the pressure and a draw seemed to be a fair result after 90 minutes.

West Bromwich Albion were the next team to visit West London and were finding life difficult at the bottom of the Premier League.

Djibril Cisse opened the scoring from the penalty spot after just 10 minute's. Ryan Shawcross scored a brilliant header from an Alejandro Faurlin corner after 38 minutes and Joey Barton rounded things off in the 83rd minute with yet another wonder strike from 30 yards. This was to be the nail in the coffin for Manager Roy Hodgson, as he was relieved of his duties at West Brom after the game.

After beating Newcastle United away in the previous round of the Carling cup, a home tie against Norwich was seen as a welcome fixture which both fan's and pundit's believed, made QPR strong favourite's to proceed to the Quarter Finals.

Another solid performance from QPR saw DJ Campbell, Djibril Cisse and Joey Barton all make the scoresheet. When questioned about Joey Bartons recent form, Fabio Cannavaro replied "He's been terrific. He both create's and scores goal's and his work rate is endless. I hope he can keep this level of performance up throughout the coming month's".

Heading up north to face The Champion's at the Theatre Of Dream's, QPR fans were not expecting their side to cause any upset's.

Manchester United 3-1 Queen's Park Ranger's

Leaving Old Trafford with their head's held high, the QPR squad could be proud of there performance overall as the class and skill that Manchester United displayed would of made it difficult for anyone to have left with a point.
