Player movement/instructions

Hi Everyone,

Firstly, I love this forum. So much to read and learn.

Now my questions:

when I see some tactics I can see arrows pointing in all directions. How can I do it?
Is there a way to tell each player what their duties are in every game?
Finally, if they are possible, and I'm sure they are, are they worth doing?

Please friends, I'm an OLD guy so please explain to me in an easily understandable way.

Well, the arrows in the tactics are tactics called Grid tactics. instead of chosing player roles etc, you can right click and drag the player to where you want him when you do not have possession. I want to try and use a 3-1-3-1-2 tactic. I've tried to find a 'downloadable'one but failed. I want a 'normal' not asymmetrical. Hence the questions I asked.

It's not the 'grid tactic' you need at all.

All you need to do is select the option 'convert to classic' in order to play about with the arrows etc.

The grid tactic is just a tactic someone has perfected by using the classic way to make tactics
