Emergency Braod Meeting
So the broad have called an emergency Meeting and have called me into it as I walk into the room I see the chairman and his broad members looking really mad. As I take a seat there is a silence In the room for about 5 minutes before anyone says anything.
Mr Kavanagh – you wanted to see me
Mr Laurentis—yes thank you for coming on such short notice as you are aware the team has not being playing well in the last 4/5 weeks.
[i]Mr Kavanagh—yes I don no that and I have being trying to get the best out my players with the little team that we have got. We have 21 players to choose from and 4 of them are from the youth team.
Laurentis—you can’t go blaming the players you were made manager of this club and you knew what you were taking on when you took over.
Mr Kavanagh—yes I know that but I was also told that I would have the full backing of the Broad and I don’t seem to have that.
Mr Laurentis—how there you come in here and say we are not behind you and what have we done to show you we don’t have you back Mr Kavanagh please do tell us.
Mr Kavanagh – ok then I will 1st of all I asked you for extra transfer funds to get some young players I got giving 4 million. For a team like Napoli that is a joke you want champions League Next season and with that money I will be lucky with Europa League. Yes we have a good team at the moment but with a small amount of players in it. I have to use the youth team a lot as fitness and Injury’s we have some great youth players but they are not ready yet.
Mr Laurentis—Look Mr Kavanagh we simple don’t have the money to give at the moment we understand that there is 7 teams looking at Hamsik.
Mr Kavanagh—Hold on let me stop you there you want me to sell one of the clubs best players.
Mr Laurentis—we are not saying you have two but if this Run keeps up you never know what will happen 3 months down the line.
Mr Kavanagh—o I get it what your trying to say is if I don’t improve the teams Results and with no money I will be sacked. So you’re leaving me with no Choice but to sell the player to get more well that’s great. How am I supposed to say it to the lad he loves this club.
Mr Laurentis—you’re the manager sort it out our it will be you that is going.
Mr Kavanagh—Fine
Mr Laurentis – O and Mr Kavanagh you have 2 Months to sort this mess.
I took this job because I thought the broad room were behind me well it looks like they are not I have to sell to get and with such a small team I have to sell. Aw I just don’t know what to fucking do this is now getting to the stage where I will quit but I won’t I Will go the Extra Inch and have to sell maybe get around 35 Million for the Lad. Will see what happens have 2 weeks till Market Opens.
