I am going to attempt to do a long term story so your guy’s comments will be essential!

Why I chose Liverpool.

As a Manchester United supporter it has been fun in recent years to see Liverpool struggle so badly in the League and was fun to watch the Liverpool fans get over excited about winning the Carling Cup last season! But I think they will be a fun team to manage to try and get back to the glory days and ironically knock United off their ‘perch’.

Manager Profile.

The manager will be a man that is well known throughout English football and is very well known by Liverpool fans for all the wrong reasons…… Gary Neville! Neville is easily my favourite ever United player and I think it will be fun to make him the Liverpool manager.

My personal aims

In the first season I am hoping for cup runs in both the Capital One Cup and the FA.Cup, to get to the quarters of the Europa League and to finish top 6 in the league. These are all minimum aims so I think I should achieve them all.
Good luck Beany, will be following :)

Cheers mate my first story in a long time so I am hoping it goes well :)

Rodgers dismissed by the board!

In a twist that has taken the footballing world by storm Brendon Rodgers has been dismissed after just three days in charge. It is strongly believed that Rodgers quickly realised he was not cut out for the job after his arrival, when he had a heated argument with club icons Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher. It is rumoured that due to this argument Rodgers very quickly lost the dressing room when he refused to apologise to Gerrard about comments he made about his recent Liverpool career.
The bookies are expecting Dalglish to be signed by the end of the week despite the fact he left only earlier that summer. This is not a good time to be a Liverpool as their club seem to be in a huge amount of turmoil. Whoever comes in will have to be strong and not mind abuse from the Liverpool faithful.
Oh dear..not rat boy..
Good luck Beany :)

Dalglish return imminent?

http://www.sabotagetimes.com/wp-content/uploads/Kenny-Dalglish-Liverpool-0071.jpeg

News that will divide opinion between Liverpool fans. Dalglish looks set to return to Liverpool the team he left just 3months earlier. A club legend Dalglish will be a firm favourite with some of the Liverpool faithful but many fans will regret the decision to bring back the club legend for yet another spell at the club, in a managerial role. Rumours are Dalglish is in early contract talks with the board members about a possible return.
It will be great to see another Liverpool FC story however I won't be happy with Gary Neville in charge. Good luck with the story. Will be following with keen interest.

Shock at Anfield as fans disgraced by board decision.

Shocking news that will literally shake the world of football. Gary Neville has joined Liverpool. The reports are that Neville has signed a one year contract for £44,000 a week, with the expectations from the board to at least qualify for European football. Surprisingly it has been confirmed by the board that Neville will not be given any funds to invest into the squad and will have to make use of the team that he currently has despite any complaints. Liverpool fans that have been asked have slated the board at the ‘disgraceful’ decision to hire a man who not only was a United player and fan but also openly insulted Liverpool in the past. United fans on the other hand have just expressed shock at the news. Neville will have to overcome the hatred aimed towards him if he is to lead Liverpool to any success.

Neville's first ever press conference

J=Journo

GN= Gary Neville

J: You sit here as the new Liverpool manager. Is this your dream job?

GN= I don't want to mislead anyone by claiming this is my favourite club, but I am really pleased to be here.

J: Do you intend to be involved heavily?

GN: I'm going to reshape this club.

J: What is your management style?

GN: I enjoy a hands on style and want players to feel like valued as people.

J: What is your main competition?

GN: The league is by the far the most important.

J: What is your tactical approach?

GN: Attractive football.

J: What are your transfer targets?

GN: I am abit of a wheeler-dealer, I look for bargains.

J: What parts of the team do you want to improve?

GN: Midfield.

Neville then thanked the journalist's for coming to speak to him, got up and left. The beginning of the new era at Liverpool had truly begun.
That is an absolutely digusting picture and should be censored. However, it is an interesting start to the story. Keep it up.

Liverpool's pre-season goes as expected as youth take to the front

Gary Neville will be content with how the pre-season. He took the opportunity to rotate the squad, play youth players and tinker with tactics to see what works best for the team.
A very good positive was Liverpool's 7-0 agg win over Borac.
This will be interesting!
