Arsenal sign Lucas Moura

Earlier today on Arsenal.com, Arsenal football club confirmed the signing of Lucas Moura from PSG for an undisclosed fee. This has come to a shock to many as everyone thought Arsenal had done all their business in the transfer market. The young Brazilian, two days before the transfer deadline, said in an interview that he would like to leave the club due to the way he was being treated by fellow players, Ibrahimovic being one of the players Moura did not get along with.

The Brazilian was wanted by many teams such as Chelsea, United, Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, AC Milan but Arsenal somehow managed to snap the youngster up. Lucas will be earning a contract of 90kp/w. It will be interesting to see which position in particular Moura wil be playing in as he is known to play anywhere in the attacking midfield and as a striker.

Slow start to the season

One would say that our start to the season has been average but for my standards I think the team has been poor. We started the season well with winning the community shield by defeating Liverpool 1-0, however we then failed to beat our rivals United in the super cup final I was suffered a very bitter 2-0 defeat.

In the premier league we have been performing fairly well but we've drawn twice. In both of those games we should have won easily but we failed to put the game to bed, especially against Everton were they scored in the 87th minute through the penalty.

The champions league has been very interesting. Our first game was against Napoli, this was a brilliant match. Both sides desperately wanted to win this game and showed it on the pitch. Everytime we scored a goal they equalised, this happened twice but the third time we made sure that previous events wouldn't repeat itself. The game against Maribor was a very easy game where we scored two screamers. One from Lucas Moura the new boy and one from Carl Jenkinson which was hit from 40 yards out, a very embarassing moment for the goalkeeper.

Next month we must improve, and we must work on our shooting as too often we waste crucial chances.

In the league we are currenty third place behind United and Tottenham. We definitely want to overtake both teams as they are our fierce rivals, espcially Tottenham. To do this we must work hard on our finishing and crossing, two aspects of our game that is currently holding us back from our rivals and other teams.

The Three Lions- European Championship Qualifiers

It was that time again, every few months I get a break from managing Arsenal as I take charge of The Three Lions. During these times I do miss Arsenal but then again there's always about 6 Arsenal lads in the England camp.

This time around we had two European Championship Qualifiers. One against Serbia, a tough match and once against Latvia an easier match however one must never underestimate his opponent.

The match vs Serbia was very nerve racking. Serbia are a very strong side, they have the likes of Vidic, Kolarov, Tosic, Subotic and many other players, so we knew we couldn't let Serbia get to comfortable despite the fact that we were away for this game. The match started off with a very quick tempo, end to end football but Serbia hit first through a Zoran Tosic goal. The home fans went crazy. A few minutes after kick off the English bands kicked in and the 4,000 away fans started singing ''Come on England, Come on England.''
This seemed to motivate the players as Theo Walcott picked up the crucial equaliser. As we scored the English bands became louder changing the song to ''GOD save our gracious queen''. I was in awe of their support as it seemed to completely encourage the players. Ten minutes after our equaliser Wayne Rooney scored a powerful header to put us ahead, 2-1. Aston Villa striker Darren Bent then came off the bench to score, putting the game to bed. Final score 3-1.

Man of the match: Cleo

Our second match was much easier. We had carried the motivation from our game against Serbia to Wembley, now we were the home side so the fans were even louder. This game was very one-sided and predictable to many. Jack Wilshere gaves us the lead after he went round the Latvia goalkeeper with great confidence. 1-0. Wilshere had another chance to score but he was brought down wickedly in the box by a Latvia defender. Penalty. There was a bit of a discussion between the players about who would take it but Bent took the responsibilty and sent the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. From this point onwards things became far too easy, it seemed like Latvia were scared and just wanted to pack their bags and go home. Jack had yet another chance to score but was brought down on the edge of the box. Jack, being the type of person he is, demanded that he would take it.. and I'm very glad he did as he scored a beauty. 3-0 was the final score.

Man of the match: Jack Wilshere. It seems since I gave him the captaincy he's really upgraded his game, not only assisting and giving defenders trouble but also getting on the score-sheet too for both country and club.

Our next game is an International friendly vs Holland. All the players have gone back to their respective clubs.
I have recently been contemplating signing Lucas Moura for my Liverpool FC side but something just seemed to stop me. It will be interesting to see how he fairs at Arsenal. Good luck for the season ahead with Arsenal and England!

Thanks for the positive support! I'm keen to see how he does for me too.

November- Now we're talking

This month we have simply been brilliant. The extra work on the training ground has seemed to definitely pay off. We're playing more like a team and everyone is helping each other out on the pitch. Our finishing and crossing has improved massively as we're starting to score a lot now. Unfortunatelt this month we suffered a crucial injury. Jack Wilshere suffered a broken jaw in our match vs Manchester City. He has been brilliant since he received the captaincy and on the behalf of the club we wish him a speedy recovery.

We've got the world club championship coming up and we're really looking forward to that as last year we went on to win it!

We have qualified for the Round of 16 of the Uefa Champions League. We finished the group on a maximum 18 points.

Here are the fixtures we played in November:

Club World Championship

Morocco. This is the country we found ourselves in 2 weeks ago to play in the Club World Championship. We had a chance to be crowned the best team in the world once again and we took, we were crowned champions in style.

Our first game was the semi-final against ASO Chief a local team based in Algeria. Before going into the game we hadn't even heard of this team before but we knew we couldn't underestimate them. We started off very well, scoring in the third minute through a Keisuke Honda goal. After this we just kept on scoring. We were a loose cannon, they couldn't do anything to stop us. They say form is temporary but class is permamnent and we definitely showed our class. The final score....7-0.

The Ox was fantastic has he scored a well earned hattrick.

Next up was the final against Palmeiras, a repeat of last years final and we knew they were hungry for revenge. Just before the game, their manager came up to me and said "Don't think last years events will repeat itself." I refused to answer him. The OX gave us the lead in the 35th minute but they quickly equalised. The game was a stalemate and it went to penalties. This is when the nerves started to creep in. Thankfully we kept composed as we won 4-2.

We're champions once again and we have done the double!

Awards:

European Golden Boy

Arsenal's Alex Oxlade Chamberlain has won the European Golden Boy award for the second time in his career, the first time being in 2012. The 21 year old has been brilliant for the North London side this season, not only scoring but assisting too. Chamberlain, known as 'The Ox' was bought from Southampton in 2011 for a fee of 12 million. The winger/central midfielder is known for his determination, strength and blitstering pace. This season Thierry Henry has even tried him out as a striker. The youngster has made 33 appearances for England which is very good for someone of his age.

Now that he has won this award its very possible that big clubs will be after him however just shortly after he won the word he dedicated it to his teammates and his coach Henry. He also stated that he will never ever leave the club as they with the help of Southampton have made him the player he is today and he still has plenty of time to improve.
Another trophy in the cabinet! Well done Seni, keep it up.

Henry hints exit

Arsenal's Thierry Henry has given a very big hint that he will leave Arsenal at the end of the season or even before the end. This has come as a shock to many football fans around the world, especially Arsenal fans as everything seems to be fine with Arsenal football club but nobody actually know's what's going on inside the football club.

In an interview with the BBC Henry said

"Its good to be home, but when you've done so much to help out at home (Arsenal) and your parents (the board) take advantage of that, don't show you the little respect you deserve, I think its time to move away and find your own home (a different club that appreciates you)."

We understand that since last season once Henry won the septuple, the Arsenal board have not shown him any respect and have simply used him and now are willing to dump him.

So it looks like Thierry Henry is on his way out, who will replace him, what will happen when Henry leaves for the second time.....
If I was the board I would be pissing my pants.

Which idiot would want to dump a manager that is a club legend + won so many trophies as manager?

Looks like the Arsenal board are cunts even in the game :P
