Episode 7:

Optimistic October

With, only three games in a very spacious October for stoke, banking the full 9 points ill be first priority for the ever changing team. It wasn't going to be easy, especially having to entrain arsenal at the Britannia stadium. But a stoke win which was becoming very typical, as they came back from a 1-0 deposit to beat Queens park rangers 2-1 at home.

"It is truly amazing, that we have the soul as well the die-hard determination to be ab le to consistently come back from a loosing position. Though we can, we are training very hard to make sure our defense is fully enabled to cope with the premier league and hopefully clean sheets will be coming stoke fans way"

Stoke, down to 9 men, managed to salvage a draw though Wilkinson and Robert Huth were sent off unjustly. Fans were jubilant to see their side had the quality to keeps the scores level despite having 2 men short and even get chances to win the game. It eneded 0-0 against west brom at the Britannia Stadium.

The last match of the month, and the biggest, with Robert Huth not being able to feature at their last match against arsneal, many thought stoke will be in for a real thrashing infront of their home fans. How wrong could they be? As stoke triumphed to a 2-0 victory against arsenal, not only did they manage to keep a clean sheet but they gave arsenal a long journey back home with 2 belters from Charlie Adam and Peter Crouch.

Ryan Shawcross also came 3rd place in Player of the Month with his consistent performances which also earned him a call up for the england team which he was very chuffed about.

Interesting to see how you do with them, are you going to use the same Rugby team tactic or are you going to change it? :p
It is great to see someone take control of Stoke and do a story. Will definitely be following.
Interesting use of the word "episode" instead of "update". Is that for a particular reason or just to be different? ;)

Glad you survived in that match even with 9 men. Have had a lot of horrible matches where my players get sent off and I lose heavily.

Episode 8:

Notorious November

Yes. Thats right, notorious is the only way to describe stoke at the moment. People say actions speak louder than words so take a look at this:

http://i48.tinypic.com/241t5c3.png

Not only does that incredible run in November, extend Stoke City's run to 8 unbeaten games in the Priemer league! But it also puts stoke in the driving seat at 2nd place in the premier league, with a full 3 clear points against 3rd place, Manchester city

Stoke City kick-started the month with a 5 goal thriller at The stadium of Light, where they destroyed sunderland's goal by going 3-0 up before the break, but sunderland's determination earned them 2 consolidation goals.

The fans of stoke were excited when they entertained liverpool to a 2-0 win in fashionable style and reportedly the party didn't stop until 2am the next day! With goals from the 2 front men, perter crouch and Cameron Jerome. The icing of the cake was, their two in form strikers (Micheal Owen and Jonathan Walters) were out for long term injuries, yet they still managed a truly magnificent win.

The party didn't stop their, as stoke travelled to Old Trafford to record a mesmerizer. 2-1 win.

In tears, Marco Van Basten described it as "it is an honour to play at this ground, yet alone to win in the style we won today. This win is defiantly one for the history books"

Stoke continued their form as they registered a narrow win against West ham and played swansea to a draw.

His outstanding management earned him player of the month, but was too upset to give us the full lowdown.

Sir Alex Ferguson commented "Marco was a fantastic player, now he is a amazing manager, stoke our more than lucky to have such a wonderful man as their manager"

Stoke city didnt achieve anything out of the blue in their domiance against fulham with a 3-1 win, with Will Hughes and Robert Hughes getting the goals to silence the fans at Craven Cottage.

Back home, they once again duly delivered against Norwich to register a 2-1 at the Britannia Stadium. Huth and Jerome hit the net in this game. Robert Huth added: " For a cb, I believe my goalscoring record this season has been very good. I hope I can carry on helping out in the attack, but my defensive duties always come first".

Stoke struggled to seal the deal at home against Aston villa, Ryan shawcross gave them an early lead but stoke couldn't hold it and it ended in a 1-1 draw.

Traveling to White Hart Lane wasnt going to be easy and they were given a true thumping recording a 3-0 loss against Tottenham, their heaviest defeat of the campaign so far. The assistant manager of stoke was quick to say " Our to will bounce back from a heavy defeat though we are bitterly disappointed our unbeaten run in the premier league has come to an end"

Stoke ended the month with a classy win against Everton at home.

"We had a decent month, and fulfilled what was expected of us, our league standing is brilliant and never in a million years would I have thought we would be in this position at this point in the league. As we approach January, we aim to bolster our attack as we struggle to score as well as struggling with form and injury"

Episode 10:

Stoke city have confirmed the signings of two players, Danny Bath and Marko Pantelic.

" I am very excited to have confirmed the loan deal for Marko as well the 3.6m transfer for Danny. Marko was brought it to help us with our shortage in goals and make sure with stay within the champions league places. Danny on the other hand was brought in to tighten up our defense as we concede too many, his age also complimented his ability"
