o.O That Japanese fella appears to be good. Butland is as well, but Genie Scout seems to think Fraser Forster should be England #2 :p

Manchester City midfielder James Milner has agreed a move to Stoke City for a fee of just £1.4m. He will be able to meet up with his new team mates in January. Milner, 28, has become displeased with the way Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has been treating him. Milner has made just 22 appearances for the club over a 3 year period.

His lack of game time has now stopped him from making the England squads with new England manager Brendan Rodgers not picking players based on name or the clubs that they play for. Milner has previously been capped by the England senior team on 32 occasions but his biggest international feat to date is being England's most capped U21 player earning a whopping 46 caps.

Milner depsite wanting to leave the Manchester club wanted to stay local to the area for his kids and family. Stoke being close to the area and their great upturn in form since the arrival of Andy Tillson made them the best option for him. We have seen a similar transfer to this before in Michael Carrick. Carrick has since become an integral part of the Stoke team, can Miner become the same?

Milner can play in various roles being able to play in the center, right and left of the midfield. Milner's versatility will prove to be a much needed addition. He's yet to play in the Champions League so should Stoke progress to the next round he could be a vital player in the knock-out phase.
Wonderful signing in Milner, he will be fantastic for you! :)

Stoke City have gone from strength to strength in the month of November. The Potters are still uneaten in the Premier League and the Champions League. Stoke had to play some tough fixtures this month, the first game of it came against European champions Manchester City. Even they couldn't force a win over Stoke. Stoke have been proving the doubters wrong as the season progresses and the longer they go unbeaten the harder it's going to be to beat them.

Jack Butland has won his third Stoke City Player of the Month award this season, failing to win it just once out of the four available. The young keeper has once again shown why he is regarded so highly by Stoke manager Andy Tillson, conceding just twice over the course of 8 games. Butland's impressive performances have been the catalyst in Stoke's success in the Premier League and the Champions League.
Outstanding results! The league title is your's!

Stoke City can announce that they have signed Greek international defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos from Schalke for a fee of £8m. Papadopoulos was transfer listed by Schalke after they hit difficult financial times and needed to get some quick money in. Papadopoulos is regarded highly in European football and he agreed to move away from Schalke to help them raise some funds.

Papadopoulos started his career at Olympiacos before joining up with Schalke in 2010 for £2.1m. Papadopoulos has made over 100 appearances for Schalke since his arrival. The tough tackling defender has earned 32 caps to date and has played in European and World Championships with Greece.

Stoke have had another fantastic month, going unbeaten again. The month started off brushing aside West Ham before meeting Celtic in the Champions League, a must win for the Bhoys. Celtic couldn't beat down the strong Stoke defense and some great heroics from Butland left Celtic down and out. Tottenham were beaten all ends up, they had no attacking threat despite Armenian internatioal Henrikh Mkhitaryan being in the form of his life. Then came QPR who put upa valiant fight against a second string Stoke side and scored a late equaliser.

Manchester United looked to have beaten Stoke and gave them their first loss of the Premier League season before Frank Lampard grabbed his first Stoke City goal in the 91st minute to keep their run up. Finally Stoke played Everton who they had a fairly easy time against despite conceding first.

Stoke City are delighted to announce the signing of Sébastien Corchia on a pre-contract. The French international right back is out of contract in June. Corchia was willing to listen to offers regarding his future from current club Sochaux and from other clubs interested in his services. Stoke manager Andy Tillson was very keen on signing the Frenchman and flew out to France to meet with Corchia and his representatives to discuss a move.

Stoke beat some of Europe’s top clubs to the signature of Corchia, showing that they are starting to become an attractive proposition for top talents. The 24 year old had started his career with Le Mans before joing Sochaux for £1.4m in 2012. He made just over 150 senior career appearances. Corchia is a French international having made 9 senior caps as well as turning out 24 times for the U21 team.

Elsewhere Stoke City midfielder Mikkel Diskerud has moved to German side Borussia Monchengladbach for a fee of £2.5m. The American joined Stoke in the summer of 2013 for a fee of £600k from Rosenborg. In his 2 years at Stoke Diskerud made just 17 appearances. The midfielder remained professional and continued to try and break into the first team. However he was up against it with a stacked Stoke midfield consisting of top European players like N'Zonzi, Diame, Carrick and Lampard.
ZOMG! Papadopoulos! And for 8m! Bargain. Corchia on a free! Highway robbery.

I couldn't resist when he offered to me for £8m, I didn't even need a new CB. Same with Corchia, I didn't need another RB but when someone of that class is available for free I can't resist.

Annoying that Papadopoulos is cup-tied in the CL, he's been class since coming in.

I know the feeling :P

Milner for that fee is quite cheap as well, but I've never rated him
