Added 'Run at Defence'
Tested with Man United and Brentford on a new save, so results should be much more tamer compared to using a save that has been developed over a decade in game like in the initial post. Holidayed for a season for both teams.
This is a very solid 4231 tactic that I've created after quite a few seasons of tweaking. It's high scoring, with a focus on creating a lot of but high quality chances. Defensively, it's okay but I can definitely see it as being a leaky tactic if using it as a lower level team.
Most goals will be coming from the striker. The IW and AM will be getting a lot of assists, especially the AM, so it may be worth to invest in a good AM for this tactic. I had Bruno Fernandes (36 years old in the screenshot) as my AM and he managed 32 assists and 13 goals over the season and got 11 MOTM awards compared to 13 for Greenwood, who was my striker, despite Greenwood bagging 84 goals over the season in all competitions.
Tackle Harder - FB(L), DCL, DCR, FB(R), DM(CL), DM(CR)
Take more risks - IW(L), AM(C), IW(R)
Shoot More Often - STC
I do not set any Opposition Instructions or have any specific training that I use that goes with this tactic.
