I personally wanted a European Super League in Football Manager. I have never been a huge fan of World League databases, because I enjoy the European side of football the most.
This database rebuilds European football into one connected Super League pyramid with 5 divisions, promotion/relegation, and two major cup competitions.

Main Version
This is the latest main version of the European Super League database.
Contains
1040 teams divided over 5 divisions:
- UEFA Premier League - 48 teams, 1 group of 48
- UEFA League 2 - 96 teams, 2 groups of 48
- UEFA League 3 - 192 teams, 4 groups of 48
- UEFA League 4 - 384 teams, 8 groups of 48
- UEFA Amateur League - 320 teams, 8 groups of 40
Every European country/region in the club ID list has at least one club included in the system.
Promotion and Relegation
- UEFA Premier League: 16 relegated
- UEFA League 2: 16 promoted, 32 relegated
- UEFA League 3: 32 promoted, 64 relegated
- UEFA League 4: 64 promoted, 128 relegated
- UEFA Amateur League: 128 promoted
The main league pyramid now has a cleaner flow: UEFA League 2, UEFA League 3 and UEFA League 4 all relegate around one third of their teams. The Amateur League has a higher promotion rate to keep the bottom level active and unpredictable.
Cup Competitions
- UEFA Champions Cup - 336 clubs from the UEFA Premier League, UEFA League 2 and UEFA League 3.
- UEFA Runners Cup - 704 clubs from UEFA League 4 and UEFA Amateur League.
- Champions Cup requires at least 5 U23 players in the starting 11.
- Runners Cup requires at least 4 U23 players in the starting 11.
- Cup dates have been adjusted to spread fixtures better through the season.
What Is New In The Main Version
- Expanded from 1024 clubs to 1040 clubs.
- The league structure has been rebuilt around 48-team groups, with the Amateur League using 40-team groups.
- Promotion and relegation has been rebalanced for a cleaner long-term pyramid.
- UEFA League 4 is now much larger, creating a stronger bridge between the main leagues and the Amateur League.
- The cup competitions have been updated to match the new league structure.
- Every European country/region now has representation in the database.
Optional Alternative Version: v4.5
v4.5 is still available as an optional alternative version for players who want faster processing and better compatibility with newer FM24 transfer updates.

v4.5 keeps 1024 clubs, but uses smaller 32-team groups to reduce the league match load.

- UEFA League 3 - 192 teams, 6 groups of 32
- UEFA League 4 - 256 teams, 8 groups of 32
- UEFA Amateur League - 384 teams, 12 groups of 32
Every club plays 31 league matches in v4.5, so this version should process faster than the main version.
v4.5 Differences
- 1024 clubs instead of 1040.
- 32-team groups for faster seasons.
- Promotion/relegation flow is 16 / 36 / 48 / 72.
- UEFA Champions Cup has 384 clubs.
- UEFA Runners Cup has 640 clubs.
- Original B clubs such as Bayern II and Castilla are no longer deleted in this alternative version.
- Player club-move edits from the original file were removed to improve compatibility with modern transfer update files.
This version is meant as a compatibility/performance alternative. The main version is the recommended version if you want the full updated structure.
IMPORTANT
When starting a save, you may get a message about disciplinary rules. This is a standard issue since FM24.3. Just click through the messages and continue.
For the best experience:
- Load only Gibraltar in Europe. Other continents can be loaded freely.
- For updated transfers, I recommend using fmtransferupdate.com or FM Data Tweaks by SirTavares.
- I do not recommend using other promotion/relegation files together with this database.

You need a transfer update, like from FMpr0 or sortitoutsi. My file is only the league structure.
Got it working
I put the 4.5 file in but I'm disappointed that the players have not been updated in the teams for example Liverpool have old players in from 2 years ago
Game keeps crashing after pressing just click 20x

But there is an issue where there are quite a few players who have Zero wages - Dembele, Vencedor and more. All with N/A under wages and paid £0
When FM26 comes out I try to make this database again in the first two weeks of release! Depends on work.

Back to two cups system:
Champions Cup: for UEFA Premier League + UEFA League 2 + UEFA League 3
Runners Cup: for UEFA League 4 + UEFA Amateur League
Both cups are knockout rounds played on neutral grounds
Prize money is only awarded to the winners of each round
Teams have been swapped between UEFA Premier League and UEFA League 2 based on real-life 2024/25 season performance
Last update. Next year I will release a BETA version for FM26. I will also release a Patron then, since it took a big time fine-tuning this and I didn't got anything for it. No, this Patron will only be for users requests like other teams, other setup. So the main edition will stay free for everyone!
i will go back to 3 cups, make sure every nation in Europe has at least one team in a division, make the price money a bit less big.
I won’t make a World League since there already is an amazing database WSL out for it!
I am trying to delete teams from the lower leagues to make my game run quicker.
When I do this in editor it auto puts the teams back in. I have managed to do it it premier league but can not do it from league 2 down.
Any idea why?
I know I must adjust the cup etc.
