4-1-2-3/4-1-4-1 Counter Pressing FM18

My version of a counter pressing system, this isn't perfect nor is it a super tactic but its worked amazingly for me so I decided to share it for everyone to give it a try. (bare in mind this is with a side that was just promoted and really isn't all that great especially defensively wise) but if you have the right players, this should definitely work well for you!


You can probably tinker with these if you like, for instance for a few games the season before I played with a winger on the right as opposed to an Inside Forward and it worked fine, also feel free to change the roles of your full backs if you wish especially if you're a top side and not a small one like myself.

Team Instructions

Like the player roles, you can change some of these around if you like, keep the obvious ones like the high line, closing down, high tempo etc but you can play around with the rest of them.
