I would like to start by expressing my acknowledgment to all FMfans who keep me motivated to edit the FlutSkin with kind words of support and stimulus.
In spite of my great recognition to all FM Skinners and graphic/addons producers that make our FM experience much more exciting, I would like to express a special thank you to PATRES10, for the tailor-made default kits I included in the skin; to NECJEFF, for the original creation of country locator that I adapted in Flutskin; to JOVOVICH, for the wonderful match intro panels; to SIRWILL and PIKAWA, for the match scoreboards I included in the skin; and, “last but not the least”, to RUNE, who has always shared his ideas with me, was responsible for the most innovative idea to improve FM skins visual – the citypics – and who has been a “compagnon de route” since the beginning of this journey.
All of you are the main source of inspiration that has made possible to improve FlutSkin since the first time (in FM13) I decided to try to edit a skin.
About the Final Version
This version does not include "structural" (or big) changes. It includes, however, several tweaks in different panels, namely in the following:
- News panel: pre-season report team preview, post match analysis, pre-match opponent analysis and team report panel tweaked
- Match preview, Match overview and Match pre-match panel: all the lineups in those panels were tweaked
- Match titlebar score: scoreboard was tweaked
- Flut match scoreboard (tweaked)
- Match introduction: League one, Serie A, K League, Bundesliga included (from Jovovich); Liga NOS included (non official intro, made based on EPL league)
- Board room (“new”)
- Club overview panel: slightly larger club kits and Last XI tweaked.

Resolution requirements:
This skin was made to work properly in 1920x1080 (1080p) full screen mode. As a result, some panels won’t work properly in other resolutions (and also in 1920x1080 windowed mode).
IMPORTANT NOTES:
In this pack I included a TUTORIAL PDF with instructions regarding the structure of your Graphics folder in order to view the citypics, the kits and the competition logos in player details and in title bar.

How to add Flut Skin in FM17
Download and extract the .rar file (using either 7-Zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac).
Place the "fm2017flutskindark" folder here:
Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2017\skins
- Create the folder "skins" if it doesn't exist.
- Start FM17 and go to Preferences screen and then into the Interface tab.
- You should see FM 2017 Flut Skin dark - Final Version as option in the skin drop down of the Overview box.
- Hit the Confirm button.
Please note this skin is provided as is. It has nothing to do with Sports Interactive or SEGA and won't be supported by them.

you indeed are correct, it works- I downloaded the pack and the folder "stadium" out of the pack was the solution for my question

I tried to use DAZ8's "Football Manager Backgrounds Super Pack", I love the fact that i get to see the stadiums, etc. But I dont like changes to the background image while u navigate between players, tactics screens, etc. (For ex: When I view "De Gea" profile, I see his bg picture and when I see Rooney's profile, I see his picture) Is there a way to prevent that?
@MarvinTic: Thanks. In the next version this panel will be changed (the dark transparent panel will be displayed).
@nymthehavoc: Is exactly how DAZS8 told you. You just have to download the superpack and follow the instructions for installing it.
@Raja: in the next version, in player profile panel will be included an option in the drop down arrow in order to change between with and without background boxes.
I have my kits in the right folders but it doesnt appear in my skin...any bug related?

I have city and stadium pictures.
Flut created the skin that way (see his screenshots) that on the stadium screen you can see 2 pictures of the stadium- for me unfortunately I see only 1 picture instead of 2 (the one on the top is a generic picture only) the question is where/how do I define the script for the top stadium picture?

Many thanks for your skin, but I have a small issue as another user has already reported. In some cases, depends of the team that I'm selecting, for example Borussia Mönchengladbach the text on the left menu is white on white.
Could you please fix it?

I was just wondering, could you make a sidebar menu that is just black and white or something? I'm playing with Parma and unfortunately they have a yellow panel with white(!) letters, which makes my eyeballs burn.
Until I can choose another color I really can't use this marvelous skin.
Generally rendering white or grey, if its possible could you release a version with dark interface for this part of the game (news interface btw)

One question- on the stadium screen, you have 2 stadium picture. In my version the one on the top is with a generic picture only. Can you please say how should the script look like for the one on the top? I would love to have 2 picture of the stadiums as well!

Hi Apocalipsus: Thank you!! The new version of the skin will have the option to choose the Flut picture (as it is now), the Flut Fake panini and the DF11/Scope picture :-)
Hi Leotavo: yes. You can use the skin in windowed mode without borders because it will be displayed with the same dimensions.
Hi Raja: Thank you very much for your preference!! In order to delete the specific sections (hidden attributes) you just have to go to the player folder (inside of the panels folder), and delete the xml named player additional attributes panel. Of course you need to reload the game in order to apply the default information you want. Regarding the floating windows I will include a little bit more transparency in the next version of the skin. Regarding the use of other stats I need to work on it later (in fact I tried the stats I used in FM16 but not working…yet ;-) )

there is no tactic option to click when I am watching the game.
rest is fine and very good.
but that option is very important when watching the game
without that option skin is bad and I am not recomending to use it
How can i have the player picture on the left on the playeroverview?
I have one suggestion. Can you give an option to hide specific sections (hidden attributes such as versatility, imp matches, consistency, injury prone) & (current ability, potential ability) in the players home screen? By disclosing the information the game is less interesting.
Also in the home/away team match ratings floating window, can you include all stats? (pass attempts, completed, cross attempts, compl...,etc?) Right now it just shows the #, status, pl name, condition, rating, goals and assists. I think you will make those floating windows little transparent like you did in FM16 version.

First of all I want to say my thanks for releasing the skin still during the Beta of the game.
I used your skin on FM16 where i used the DF11 facepack.
On this game i changed to the scope facepack and it seems to be a bit buged with that pack. The picture appears very large, and i can't change it (ususally there was some option like df11, or panini or panini fake i belive)
Brilliant to get this much content workable and we are only at Beta stage....well done m8
