Does it work for Mac or Linux?
No. However, we exclusively release another scouting tool for Mac OS X users:

- Extract the downloaded .zip file and run the setup .exe file.
- Follow instructions until installation is finished.
- Run Football Manager 2017 and load your saved game.
- Launch Genie Scout 17 and from main menu click "Load Game".

Donate to Eugene to get the "g" edition
As usual, Genie Scout 17 comes in two editions:

The public edition comes with 2 banner ads. The "g" edition has no ads and includes a couple of minor extra features. In order to get the "g" edition, you need to donate to Eugene.
Update: As of October 18th, the "g" edition of GS for FM17 is made public and doesn't require a license!

DELIVERY OF THE 'G' EDITION: Eugene has automatized the process of distribution for the "g" edition, so you will have to wait just a few minutes before you receive a download link and a key file. But only if they have sent correct contact email, correct Unique ID alongside your donation.
Make sure you check your Spam folder too.
It might take up to 24 hours though. In case of problem with your donation, please contact Eugene using the email address you'll see in the message after donation.
IMPORTANT:FM Scout (the site) is not involved in the donations towards Eugene, neither has any responsibility delivering the ad-free version to you after donation. This is a process handled solely by Eugene himself.

Bug Reports
During closed beta stage for supporters, Eugene fixed most bugs that came to surface. As a result, the public edition should be quite stable from its very first version.

Known issue: Sale value for players is not accurate and sadly we have no way of making it work as it used to be before GS13.
Any comment including bug report posted on this page will be removed on sight!
EXPORTING DATA:Please understand it is forbidden by the EULA from SI and SEGA to export all the data from the results. You should be able to export only basic information such as player name, club, age, etc.

@mattcox_25: It can help you massively. Load your saved game on FM17, then fire up GS17 and load it there. Use the search filters to find players specifically in your save who would be a good match for your team. Check reputation of players already in your team and set that number in the filter search as the up limit. There are many more options to narrow down your search for most targeted findings.
@Gui12SD: I think that usually happens when you have GS17 open for hours idling, and then try to do a search. Restarting the app should do the trick.
@forzaroma: Hmm, any chance you've added any custom databases?
@pjh1029 @TheJofSpades @GeunwonKim: Simply email Eugene to explain the situation and pass him your new unique ID.
@Juventus223: It's not possible to run GS directly on iPad. If you own both FM Touch for PC and FM Touch for iPad, you can use a cloud save to cross play. And when you're on PC, you can then use GS there.
confused, because i'm playing with current version..
my fm is not supported this gs 17

3. Hover/Click on "Search"
4. Click on "Filter by Club/Squad"
