How to run GS18
- Extract the downloaded .zip file and run the setup .exe file.
- Follow instructions until installation is finished.
- Run Football Manager 2018 and load your saved game.
- Launch Genie Scout 18 and from main menu click "Load Game".

The public edition comes with 2 banner ads. The "g" edition has no ads and includes a few minor extra features. In order to get the "g" edition, you need to donate to Eugene.

DELIVERY OF THE 'G' EDITION: Eugene has automatized the process of distribution for the "g" edition, so you will have to wait just a few minutes before you receive a download link and a key file. But only if they have sent correct contact email, correct Unique ID alongside your donation.
Make sure you check your Spam folder too.
It might take up to 24 hours though. In case of problem with your donation, please contact Eugene using the email address you'll see in the message after donation.
IMPORTANT:Donations are handled by Eugene. He will deliver the ad-free version to you after donation.

Bug Reports
During closed beta stage for supporters, Eugene fixed most bugs that came to surface. As a result, the public edition should be quite stable from its very first version.

Known issue: Sale value for players is not accurate and sadly we have no way of making it work as it used to be before GS13.

EXPORTING DATA:Please understand it is forbidden by the EULA from SI and SEGA to export all the data from the results. You should be able to export only basic information such as player name, club, age, etc.

@geek: Yes. There are a few things that require updating and fixing. Eugene told me he'll attempt to address most of them for Saturday's update. That means "g" edition will also have an update on that day.
@magicaz: Sounds like a problem with your key file. You either didn't place that file in the appropriate folder, or you changed/formatted your computer and your unique ID changed (therefore you need a new key that you can ask from Eugene).
For those asking about the activation process of the "g" edition, the process is automated. After successful donation (which won't go through if you don't enter a unique ID), you will receive 2 emails from Eugene; 1 with download link(s) and 1 with the key file attached. The latter might end up in your email's spam area (due to unknown file type), so make sure you check there.
i've the g edition up and running since friday, but i do notice that the ratings for staff on genie scout and that in the game can be markedly different.
for example, on genie a defence coach is rated 4.5 stars, but in-game he's only 3.5 stars. and i've had to resort to manually calculating the coaching attrributes myself in order to get the correct ratings (the number of stars for a coach).
would be good if this may be looked into for future updates.

I have a key for the G edition. I use this key on an other PC and i havent any problems... Thanks in advance
On a side note, I've asked Eugene for a number of minor improvements that will likely arrive in yet another update (regardless of further patch releases).
@Pacman_NUFC: GS18g is always updated within 24 hours after a new patch, so I'm not sure where "few days" came from.
@Lillois: Eugene has chosen the fastspring service to process donations. I'm afraid that doesn't support PaySafe.
@n00bsior: You'll be needing 2 keys, but you only need to donate once. Use the ID of your first computer when donating. Then simply email Eugene to explain you need a second key as well and pass him the ID of your other computer.
@Robelink @Arshavincoe66: That means there's a problem with your key file; you either didn't place it in the appropriate folder, or you changed/formatted your computer and you need to message Eugene and ask for a new key.
