FM Genie Scout (or Genie Scout in short) is world's most popular scouting tool for Football Manager, created to extend the possibilities of finding, sorting and shortlisting players and staff, controlling their progress, making "first 11" and tactics choice easier and observing attributes invisible in FM.

Does it work for Mac or Linux?
No.

Can I use it to edit attributes and other details?
No. However, we might release a real time editor soon.

How to run GS24

Extract the downloaded .zip file and run the setup .exe file.

Follow instructions until installation is finished.

Run Football Manager 2024 and load your saved game.

Launch Genie Scout 24 and from main menu click "Load Game".

Donate to Support GS & get the "g" edition

As usual, Genie Scout 24 comes in two editions:

The public edition comes with 2 banner ads.

The "g" edition has no ads and includes a few minor extra features.

In order to get the "g" edition, you need to donate to Support GS.

Genie Scout 24g Explained

DELIVERY OF THE 'G' EDITION:
The process of distribution for the "g" edition has been automatized, so you will have to wait just a few minutes before you receive a download link. Another email containing the key file might take a while though. But only if they have sent correct contact email, correct Unique ID alongside your donation.

Make sure you check your Spam folder too.
It might take up to 24 hours though. In case of problem with your donation, please reach out to the email address you'll see in the message after donation.

Bug Reports

During closed beta stage for supporters, most bugs that came to surface were fixed. As a result, the public edition should be reasonably stable from its very first version.

Should you find a bug, please report it to the Genie Scout forum.
Read this before submitting any bugs!

Known issues:
- Sale value for players is not accurate and sadly we have no way of making it work as it used to be before GS13.
- In-Game Scout ('g' edition feature) doesn't currently work.
- The image on the setup screen shows GS23 (ignore it, we'll update that picture soon)

Any comment including bug report posted on this page will be removed on sight!

EXPORTING DATA:
Please understand it is forbidden by the EULA from SI and SEGA to export all the data from the results. You should be able to export only basic information such as player name, club, age, etc.

I've removed the last few comments as they were all against the community posting guidelines. I haven't taken further action towards the people who posted them, but consider this a warning. Keep politics out of this place.

Regarding the 24.3 update of the public edition, it's only a few days away by now. While I don't have an exact day for it yet, I reckon the worst case scenario would be Sunday, possibly sooner.

Hey, I've been guilty of giving Eugene some stick so I don't want to sound a hypocrite, but I've been reading some of the comments and some guy said he can't get GS and he's from Russia and another guy said he won't sell it to you he is from Ukraine. I half laugh and half made me sad. Please don't give Eugene stick about GS. If you have any morals and principles, and he is from Ukraine, then I'm pretty sure he has other things on his mind. If I knew this before, I would have never even complained. He has been providing GS for many years and we all still use it with its glitches and faults because it's still the best tool out there. It is cheating but who cares, I don't have time to play FM all day, if you had to actually scout those players in game, it would take a ridiculous amount of time. I justify the cheat because I just pretend I have a super scout at the club lol. It's simple, I didn't know at the time but G edition works fine, you have to wait for free edition to work with an update. However I have an individual reason for having a moan but it all puts it into perspective if Eugene is from Ukraine. I don't want to get politics involved, but is hard to ignore with all the shit that going on over there. I will always support Ukraine.

Hello! I had to reset my system second time this year. Can you check my response with new UniqueID on your first letter with a key-file and send me a new one?
I responded on your first letter at 2024-03-23 14:26, topic "FM Genie Scout 24g - Activation"

I write here because you rarely response on letters where users ask for a new key-file. After first PC hard reset I had to donate second time, because you didn't respond. I think that is enough for donations for a third time this year, and I have to ask to send new key file here

Anyway, thank you for the great product!

I have last more than 10 years golden edition fm scout ( donated ) and i think this is it from me. Waiting key like 10 days ( i changed pc ) im done there and i wish u best luck and thank you!

Sou do Brasil e estou ansioso pela atualização do Genie Scout. Pelos comentários, parece que a atualização pública será lançada neste fim de semana. Já tentei comprar a versão G, mas não consigo porque as bandeiras dos cartões que tenho simplesmente não são aceitas.

I'm from Brazil and I'm looking forward to the Genie Scout update. From the comments, it seems that the public update will be released this weekend. I've tried to purchase the G version, but I can't because the card brands I have simply aren't accepted.

I have been using fmrte for the main time...not as good as GS but I guess it would suffice for now...just waiting for GS update to drop so I can start a new game with the new FM general update

Hi people. I was a bit harsh on Eugene, so I apologise for my comments. However I have had to buy the G edition again, so I've paid for it twice effectively costing almost £12. It works fine now, so I don't know why I didn't receive a key file the first time or an email from Eugene trying to rectify the situation. It would seem if you all have the standard edition, Eugene has not updated that yet and it's only the G edition that has been updated. A bit naughty really considering all the people who have paid for GS for many years. I even bought the in-game editor thinking it would act like a genie scout but it doesn't, I think that was £7. Communication needs to be better as I will think twice about buying FM25 & GSG 25 next time. Get it together folks just like sortitoutsi. You only seem interested in taking peoples money.

I made a donation last Saturday and received the key file for the G edition. However, I didn't know that my unique ID had changed, so I asked them to send me a new key file, but it hasn't arrived yet. Please send it to me if you're not too busy. I've already sent the email twice.

For God's Sake! Sort out Genie scout. I bought the 'G' edition back in November last year but I never received it. Now the free one has not been working for days. Get someone else on it if Eugene cant be bothered, sick of giving him money for nothing. Paid every year with tips some years for as long as I can remember. Please get someone else to do Genie Scout.

Only using free version does not work, would assume paid G version would, otherwise only thing is to wait.
