FM Genie Scout has always been the world's favorite scout utility for Football Manager since its very first version.
We pride ourselves on exclusively releasing this legendary tool since 2009. As always we try our best to deliver Genie Scout to the world every year because your support to this project is outstanding.
Our aim is to update Genie Scout "g" edition to be usable for the FM26 Beta. Then fix any bugs reported. And ultimately try to update all relevant data to reflect the changes in FM26 (e.g. new player roles).
FM Genie Scout 26 Release Date
Public edition
While we can't give you a firm date for the release of the public version, we should be able to release it towards late November. It usually arrives approximately 4-5 weeks after the "g" edition."g" edition
The "g" edition, which is the one for people who donate, is available since 25 October (beta 1). Current version (beta 4) is compatible with the 26.0.0 version of FM26 on Steam and Epic.Please note not everything will work perfectly initially, but we'll keep improving until it reaches the level of quality we’re aiming for.

The "g" edition is ad-free and has certain features compared to the public edition.
More specifically:
- Potential attributes search (new since 21g)
- GS Stats (new since 18g)
- Role Ratings
- Probability of Development
- Progress Rate
- Top Players list
- Facepack/Kit support

Yes! If you still have FM23 installed, you can try the "g" edition of Genie Scout 23 for free. It's not a trial, it's 100% unlocked forever.

While I understand the frustration, you also need to understand that we've worked like 18 hours each day on this to get where we are right now. Twisting words or facts doesn't help anyone.
Reminder: GS always has a public edition that is free for all. Public GS26 will arrive towards the end of November as stated on this very article. The g edition is for people who wish to support the development and get early access alongside some extra features.
Create a platform for supporters and let them easily access the database. Why does everything have to be so difficult? If I’m supporting you, please make access simpler and more user-friendly.
I don't have an exact time for the next update, but the plan is to work on it tonight once home.
Sorry for the spam but a quick tip that could be useful for anybody:
If you haven't updated the game on Steam yet (I knew this was gonna happen so I put the updates on manual and I didn't launch the game yet), you can set Steam to offline mode and relaunch it.
In this way, you will be allowed to launch the game without applying the new patch and therefore you'll still be able to use GS26g normally, while waiting for the new version to be released.

It's a bugfix update so I don't think much has changed and it's probably just a matter of updating the number of the version the app checks for while loading in, but still a manual update is needed.
Downloaded beta version3, but always getting the message "Your game data is not found", eventhough the game is loaded and advancing
