FM Genie Scout has always been the world's favorite scout utility for Football Manager since its very first version.
We pride ourselves on exclusively releasing this legendary tool since 2009. As always we try our best to deliver Genie Scout to the world every year because your support to this project is outstanding.
Our aim is to update Genie Scout "g" edition to be usable for the FM26 Beta. Then fix any bugs reported. And ultimately try to update all relevant data to reflect the changes in FM26 (e.g. new player roles).
FM Genie Scout 26 Release Date
Public edition
While we can't give you a firm date for the release of the public version, we should be able to release it towards late November. It usually arrives approximately 4-5 weeks after the "g" edition."g" edition
The "g" edition, which is the one for people who donate, is available since 25 October (beta 1). Current version (beta 15) is compatible with the 26.0.6 version of FM26 on Steam, Epic, Gamespass (Xbox), and 26.0.5 on Console.Please note not everything will work perfectly initially, but we'll keep improving until it reaches the level of quality we’re aiming for.

The "g" edition is ad-free and has certain features compared to the public edition.
More specifically:
- Potential attributes search (new since 21g)
- GS Stats (new since 18g)
- Role Ratings
- Probability of Development
- Progress Rate
- Top Players list
- Facepack/Kit support

Yes! If you still have FM23 installed, you can try the "g" edition of Genie Scout 23 for free. It's not a trial, it's 100% unlocked forever.

Just checking before I update, can anybody confirm?
The email only says 26.0.2 but they are releasing hotfixes sometimes to fix the new stuff they mess up lol

Uninstall GS26g, open the Registry Editor (type that on Windows start to find it), then go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Genie\FM Genie Scout 26g and delete that folder (right-click > delete). Finally, do a fresh install of GS26g.
It worked for a while for me, and then I started getting "List Index out of Bounds (-1)" too.
About the virus alert, we're aware and filed a false positive report via the relevant form. Not sure how long that might take. You can check that the file is clean on its VirusTotal analysis.
