I have started 2 new games. One was with Barca, I played 2 games in the Super Cup against Real Madrid and won 9-3 over the 2 legs with this tactic. I stopped with that as it is way too easy and not a challenge. I have stated a new game with Napoli and have a 100% record in the league after 9 games, scoring 35 goals and conceding only 5.

Try it. It works great. Best and most consistant tactic I've made in the 6-7 years I've been playing FM.
Let me know how you get on. And any tweaks you make.

The instructions to the opposing team uses them?………….Thanks for reply
In my first season I had Gekas as the TM and he was up and down, still good though.
Just in my close season before my 2nd season now - managed to get Sturridge from Chelsea and Macheda from Man Utd - will play Sturridge as AF and Macheda as TM.
What would help (if you had time) would be to list the 5 most important attributes for each position (as you see it) and add it to your OP so people using the tactic can see what people to go for to try and replicate this as much as possible!
Thanks again...
@mikedodgeson - yes the target man runs on to the ball and is usually left one on one with the keeper or plays his striking fellow in. From the teams I've played with someone who is strong and has decent acceleration 14+ is good. Composure is important as he will be 1 on 1 alot. The best striker I have had was a guy called Rondon after 2 season with Newcastle. Score over a goal a game. Yaya Sanogo is a player who grows to be prime in this role. Small quick strikers are not so good. Other players I have used in various save games with great success are: Leandro Damiao, Cavani, Tevez and Evans from Sheff Utd (current game).
The guys with the best work rate and team work seem to bag the goals. I found these attributes outweighed the 'technical' attributes when it comes to return on goals.
Ive started using the 2nd striker as a Terquista which is working well as he finds space and plays the other striker in or beats the man. Had sturride on loan at sheff utd and he worked exceptionally well there. Shame I havent got him anymore!
Do you play your poacher style striker as the target Man? I noticed that his passes to him are set to run onto ball?
If you could give me a guide as to what kind of stikers to go for, any important attributes needed... that would be a huge help!
the pitch size? thanks for reply
