How to install Audio Commentary on FM16
1. Exit FM16 Completely2. Backup your "events" & "sounds" folders
\steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2016\data\events\
\steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2016\data\sounds\
Simply copy these folders to somewhere else out of the FM16 installation directory, so if something goes wrong we can restore them.
Once backup is made, delete the "sounds" folder.
3. Apply Patch
Move the extracted folders "events" and "sounds" to:
\steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2016\data\
You will be asked to merge / overwrite some files and folders, click OK/YES to confirm.
You have a backup of those from the previous step so nothing to worry about.
4. Delete Events Files In Updates Directory
No need to touch "events" files in "updates" directory, but in case any odd thing happen, it's recommended to delete them.
Backup first of course. Make a copy of the "events" folder within all "update-16XX" directories:
\steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2016\data\updates\update-1601\events\
\steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2016\data\updates\update-1610\events\
\steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2016\data\updates\update-1611\events\
and so on... to somewhere out of the FM16 installation directory.
Then delete all files within. It will be either 1 or 2 files: "match_events.xml" and/or "match_sounds.cfg".
5. In-Game Preferences
Start FM16 and go to "Preferences > Match" tab.
Make sure that "Use sound in match" is ticked and "Volume" slide is high enough.
Then go to "Preferences > Interface" tab.
Click the "Clear Cache" button.
Enable "Reload skin when confirming changes in Preferences".
Click the "Reload Skin" button.
That's it. Jump into matches and enjoy!

@carl_vdb: I think I'll just edit the 4th step to say "delete" instead of "delete if it doesn't work" to be sure.
I hope that helps out a little. If you're not sure, please wait for a video. It can be frustrating the first time.
Cheers.

@DAZS8: That (copying the files within update folders too) seems unnecessary to me. Is it really required or possibly the 4th step is sufficient?
I'll get someone to create a video tutorial for this soon. Hopefully the instructions will be easier for most people to follow if they're watching someone else doing these steps.
4. Delete Events Files In Updates Directory
No need to touch "events" files in "updates" directory, but in case any odd thing happen, it's recommended to delete them.
So put into the Events and Sounds folders in the Update 16.1.1
